The food is decent, the service is a complete chaos…

The food was a mix of hits and misses. The grilled cauliflower with tzatziki arrived more boiled than grilled; however, it still tasted good. The lobster soup was average in taste, while the lamb shish stood out as a really flavorful dish.

Unfortunately, the dining experience was greatly marred by chaotic and unprofessional service. The team seemed disorganized and out of sync - one staff member would set the table with cutlery only for another to clear it away five minutes later. Our order was mistakenly served to another table, causing us an extended wait. There was even an incident where a waiter refused to replace a wrong dish for another guest, claiming he'd already started eating it. Our bill included wrong items.

This level of service was surprisingly disappointing.

To sum up, despite some tasty dishes, the disarray in service overshadowed the dining experience. I wouldn't consider returning.

UPD, answering to the owners: we were there on 4th of...

We went there as a group of 3 people. We waited for a long time for our food which was really nice and the pizza that one of our friends ordered came 30 minutes after our dinner had came. The place was really busy and there were only 2 waiters in the entire restaurant!!! The waiters were super helpful and nice but were extremely busy and obviously super tired because they were being overworked and at some point one of them started crying because the owner of the place was super rude towards them and even forcefully removed the mask of one of his staff. He was also rude towards the customers, forcing people to switch tables so he could fit more people in his restaurant and telling us that we have to go even though we still had not drink all of our Bottle of wine!!!

Even though I really liked the food, I really did not like how the owner manages things in his restaurant and behaves towards the staff and...

Be careful if you have allergens.

My mum and I were considering the Italian restaurant next door but opted to try this one only because of the lack of queue. My mum is coeliac so before we sat down we asked if they had gluten free pizza. The waitress went to the kitchen and came out and confirmed they did. So, my mum ordered one of their gluten free pizzas, specifically saying gf when she was ordering. When they were brought out together we both thought the bases of the pizzas looked suspiciously the same so I suggested to her to double check with the waitress. The waitress looked unsure when we asked and checked with the kitchen whi then came out and told us that gf pizza is impossible in the restaurant and it was not gf.

For those non gf considering going, my normal pizza was relatively tasty but did have a gorgeous stone baked base. Atmosphere was chill and nice...

Not good. Hair in pizza. we complained to the waitress, and she apologized, and took the hair away. the stocky owner/cook spoke to us from across the room at the cash register, rubbing his head, and saying the hair could not have been from him. He declined to remove the charge for the hairy pizza. Photo shows uneaten pizza after I found the hair, just before waitress bussed it. We also purchased two appetizers (baba ganoush and fried zucchini) and two other main courses (salmon and another pizza). Photo of receipt is attached. None of the food was good. PS we asked for additional bread for the baba ganoush, since it only came with 3 small pieces. They charged 390 Kr for 3 more small pieces of bread! Bon appetit!

A Vomit! I was going to write a long review but I will be briefly . Terrible experience I had at this place. No culture of service. Food was disgusting definitely the worst taste and style of cooking lamb chops I ever had and everything that was on that plate🤢.Pepper-castor was empty! Staff was trying to say excuses about their unprofessionalism by kind of arguing with you instead of just saying simply Sorry ! Like I said NO service culture 🤦🏻‍♂️ That’s the one and only softly to say unpleasant experience we had at divine Reykjavik that I will try to forget… and by the way they brought salad after they brought everything 🤦🏻‍♂️at the end!🤣🤣🤣

I ordered the Caesar salad, but it really was not what I was expecting. It was more like a mayonnaise based dressing tossed in finely diced head lettuce aka iceberg . A typical Caesar salad is made with romaine lettuce and dressing that is Caesar (garlic, anchovies etc). I still ate it and enjoyed it. I also had the lemon chicken which I found to be pretty tasty. My son and husband had pizzas. They enjoyed them. Service was great. Very cozy atmosphere.
