Deko House — Hotel in Pulau Bali

It was our first place in Bali, and I was so surprised when understood how lucky I am because I found this guest house: in the centre of Ubud, close to all shops and cafes, but not near the street, so quiet and you sleep good. We booked room with kitchen and it was not only kitchen, with everything you need, it was big balcony with kitchen where I did yoga every day🧘‍♀️ Inside in clean, big and light room we have good shower with hot water and conditioner. They also clean our room much more often I do at my home even 😁 Always I found bali coffee, sugar, and fruits. It’s really best place I was on Bali and now I left a piece of my heart in Ubud and in Deko house. I had a nice, 4-week stay with Kadek and her family. Kadek is the face of the business, but her husband runs the day to day operations. My room was cleaned twice a week, and there is complimentary filtered water on site. The room was just the right size and was naturally airy. The house is walking distance to many restaurants and attractions, and because it's listed here on Google, it was easy for tour operators to collect me. There's a quick and affordable laundry service and several souvenir shops on the same street. As it's a family compound, it's communal and multiuse: I heard a pig being slaughtered one morning, and there was often the pungent smell of cinders from the wood burning stove. Finally I stayed until October 31, I extended because I felt very comfortable in this guest house. Kadek and her husband are very hospitable and nice. Every morning they brought me tea and coffee, one day they invited me to a plate of yellow rice and they helped me manage my movements. The rooms are spacious, clean and very cosy. In my hallway I only had 2 neighboring rooms, which gives you a lot of privacy. In addition, it is located very centrally next to the Palace, the Monkey Forest, Campuhan, the warungs on the street are super good, as well as cafes or fancy restaurants nearby. I would repeat without a doubt more times.
