Stayed 7 nights here and it was really comfortable. The room is adequate in size and the AC makes it agreeable. What makes this stands out from other places that I stayed in Ubud is Agung and Tina, who make delicious breakfast for me and other travellers. Every morning Tina makes delicious coffee and fruit salad, while the green pancakes and omelettes are made by Agung, who is always happy to help travellers with their enquiries and needs. Within the compound of the property is a small temple that you can enjoy observing. There is also a little pond with kois and a friendly and melodic bird of paradise, which you can enjoy watching. There are four rooms here, two downstairs and two upstairs, so you don't feel crowded with other travellers. The room are also tucked away from the street, which means you won't here the traffic outside. Speaking of outside there are restaurants nearby and a coffee shop just by the side of the entrance to the property. Highly...
Read morePositive: the breakfast is really good, the garden looks nice and places around are easy to reach.
Negative: I’m really sorry to say but I am kind of disappointed by this hotel. At first sight it looks really good. But when I arrived I got a room without aircon although I booked one including it. There were many spiderwebs in the room. I was asked to switch my room at the next day. This time I had aircon but the bathroom in this room was really not good, I couldn’t flush the toilet. Taking with the staff was kind of frustrating because they didn’t understand and it seems that they weren’t really listening and distracted by other stuff. They were so forceful in offering us transport and tours to book with them. The check out was also really unreliable, because it seemed no one who’s responsible for that was there, so the payment took a long time . So in the morning when we wanted to leave, we had to hurry a lot to...
Read moreIf you're looking for a traditional balinese home w/ a beautiful temple and for just under $10 a night, then you've hit the jackpot with Nyoman Warta Accomodation. The room is spacious, bright and airy. The internet is reliable and I was able to work remotely while I was there. There's a refrigerator to put fruit or water in, and you can ask for hot water anytime if you want to make coffee. There's an elderly lady called Ibu who prepares the most delicious and aesthetic fruit platter and breakfast every morning, and in huge portions too. I sometimes wonder if they still earn anything after feeding me so much. The temple inside the compound is beautiful and can be viewed from the room. It may not always be easy to locate the entrance but just look for Chai of the Tiger and that's where the entrance is. Overall, I had a very good night's sleep here and would definitely recommend to...
