Laduma Ubud — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

We ate here yesterday. My husband ordered Mie Goreng Ayam, which tasted good but unfortunately had a hair in it. We asked to change the plate, and they did, but then brought the wrong juice. There are three chefs in the kitchen, and all of them have long hair, if that’s the case, they really need to make sure it’s properly covered for hygiene reasons.

Despite that, we came back today because the food we tried before had a nice flavor. However, we had a very unpleasant surprise with the Pad Thai. It had absolutely no flavor, just plain white noodles with a few toppings, nothing like a real Pad Thai. We couldn’t eat it and had to order different dishes instead.

We told the waitress about our disappointment, but when paying, they didn’t offer any discount or apology. The bad customer service came directly from the manager, since the waitress actually did her best and treated us well. The manager, however, didn’t provide any solution or compensation at all.

Very disappointing experience, especially considering how good the food tasted the first time. Hopefully, they improve their hygiene and customer...

Presentation 5/5, Flavour/Texture 2/5. I got the advocado with poached eggs and fetta, the toast was not toasted properly and the egg was slightly undercooked which made the meal very mushy like baby food or something you'll feed your grandmother with no teeth. I also ordered flat white coffee and it was about 10% coffee 90% milk. Can we normalise making coffee taste like coffee not milk? I hate to complain but I love coffee and most shops don't even know how to make a flat white. What I received was more like a latte. Great spot with excellent food and amazing coffee

Laduma Restaurant is a fantastic place to dine in the heart of Ubud. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. The food is well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and great flavors, but the highlight for me was definitely the coffee one of the best you can find in Ubud! The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great dining experience in Ubud.
