I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant 4-5 times during my stay in Ubud.
As someone with Turkish roots living abroad, it's not often that I get to indulge in delicious Turkish cuisine. But this restaurant truly understands the art of cooking and presenting Turkish dishes, and it left me feeling absolutely delighted and satisfied - every time.
The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always ensuring that my drinks were promptly served and my food arrived within a reasonable 20-25 minutes wait. The quality of the food was consistently high, and I loved that they paid attention to even the smallest details.
What made my experience even more special was the wonderful company I had always met there while dining. I met other guests who shared the love for Turkish food, and we had lovely conversations.
And, as a lovely bonus, there is one Balinese staff member who speaks Turkish - it was amazing to hear him chatting with me and some of the other Turkish customers in Turkish language!
My personal favorite dish was the 'manti with beef filling', which was absolutely mouth-watering 😋❤️.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Turkish dining...
Read moreI ordered wayyy too much food thinking the portions would be small because of how ridiculously cheap everything is. I got the beef and onion gozleme and a kofta platter for about 130k rupiah. Some of the best kofta I have EVER eaten and very generous portions. Even the gozleme came with a yummy side salad ontop of the one I had on the platter!
The lovely woman who took my order was very patient and friendly - there was a customer who came in after me who was quite rude and even I was close to losing my temper listening to her behaviour, but the waitress dealt with it with poise and tact.
Incredibly impressed in every way, I will definitely be eating here again! I wish I could add pictures but I scarfed it all down because it was too delicious to wait!
Edited to add that my food came super fast as well, I would’ve expected to wait at least...
Read moreI enjoyed a Large Turkish breakfast and requested that anything non-vegan be replaced with vegan hummus, as well as swapping pita bread for simit. Simit was hot and fresh. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The Turkish tea was freshly brewed, served in a pot, and generous enough for at least three servings, perfect for two people. If you're looking to try a vegan Turkish breakfast, this place is definitely worth a visit.
However, I couldn’t order the pita bread because it contains egg, and the lentil soup had chicken broth, so those weren’t vegan-friendly. I hope they expand their vegan options in the future, as this spot has great potential. Thank...
