Rumah Kultur — Hotel in Pulau Bali

I discovered Rumah Kulture while walking down famous Hanouman Street. Driven by guts-feeling, I went in and inquired about rooms. Instantly I got the chance to look at one of these wonderful modern and extremly well furnished rooms as well as spot on bathroom...and what shall I say. Fell in love. All in all I stayed more than two weeks at Rumah Kulture and the family, who also lives there and takes care of no matter what wish you have, is simply loveable !!! Surely I return back to Ubud and Rumah Kulture, can´t really wait to do so. As singel travelling lady I felt more than safe and welcome. Rooms are cleaned and refilled with whatever you need on a daily basis. I even got free water bottles filled up, my breakfast was made exactly the way I love it and breakfast time is just a "maybe you want to start the day at that and that time". If you are up for early Yoga class or a trip, just tell them the evening before. They even give out take-away-breakfasts if you are in a hurry to get somewhere early morning. You need a driver? No problem, they give you the best man they have at hand (sort of family also, great car, safe driving and increadibly nice! Need a scooter, no problem, neighbour next door will help you out. Ah, I could write a whole book about this wonderful place, but...

I don't know where to start, this was the perfect place for me in a perfect location with wonderful, caring people. I had a good sized, clean room and bathroom. I stayed 7 days and felt comfortable and safe in a very central location. Even though it's in the heart of Ubud very near to the best cafes, shops and yoga studios, it was quiet at night and I slept well. The best part of my stay though was the staff who really treated me with such kindness, you could feel the love and warmth radiating from them. For instance, I mentioned my favourite local fruit to them and the next day they gave it to me for breakfast. You need any help or guidance getting around or tips on the local area, they will give you good advice. Everyone greeted you with a smile and I felt truly welcomed. Thank you so much Rumah...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in May. As it is relatively new we were a little nervous as there weren't many reviews but this went past expectations!||The room was exactly like the pictures, new, clean and modern. Breakfast was served in the morning at a time of your choice freshly cooked. There was no menu so you got whatever food was cooked that day however we had different every morning which was great. The staff were beyond helpful, assisting us with our laundry and even giving us umbrellas when they thought it may rain!! ||Location wise, this is right in the centre of Ubud, close to fantastic restaurants, the monkey Forest and the markets. But as it is tucked away it isn't loud or hectic.||The perfect stay for a trip to Ubud and we would definitely come back if we were in the area...
