Horrible service. The servers wear shoes when entering the tatami platform. And despite the customers being barefooted on their seatings, the servers continue to track their shoes with debris all over the sitting area. Because of this the seating area is full of dirt and server's footprints in their outside shoes. they have no regard for their working environment and they are also the laziest servers I have ever seen with the worst attitude ever. Considering this place is called the seed of life and yet what has been exhibited is basically the seed of vices. They should rename their business as the seed of vices as the human vices are on full display here through their service attitudes and an utter lack of enthusiasm for their jobs or even manners to care for their customers. I think the business owners are extremely irresponsible people. The culture of their employees have clearly shown that things happen this way for a very long time and it did not just happen overnight or an incident a few times only. So the owners must not care about customer oriented services or their experiences as part of their so-called wholesome culture which they try to promote through their foods. The servers act like a bunch of spoiled folks who don't like their jobs and just want to go home and would like to do as little as possible. It's a huge contrast in comparison to other businesses that beg for more tourists to come visit their shops with the best smiles possible and eager demeanor. They display their melancholy and disinterest in helping anyone. Maybe employee training takes a while so the owners keep these servers around, that's the best possible reason I can think of as to why these people are still working here and behave the way they do so carelessly. They will go los Angeles on you. Meaning - " I don't care that you are here and I am too good to be serving you" attitudes, "because I really don't like my job and I'm just doing this for the money. " It says on their faces very obviously. Another hypocritical one love one earth pretentious place...
Read moreThe food is great, I love this place, was visiting it 1-2 times a week, but the service always was questionable to me. People inside the restaurant isn't great with English, sometimes is was hard to ask something or receive an answer. Once I had super confusing conversation, it was during black-out: Me: Can you cook something? They: No, we dont cook, we're raw Me: I know, cook something from your menu They: We don't cook here, raw place Me: I know, can you MAKE something from menu It kept going like this for a while.
But what happened today is just shocking. I asked a question in Instagram 3 weeks ago. No answer. I was just waiting, wasn't even thinking about it. And yesterday I reacted with 🔥 to the story about reopening of the first restaurant. And I finally got the answer to my previous question. I decided not to hide that I'm upset that the answer took for long, I simply said "It took you 3 weeks to answer 😕".
The reaction is just brilliant. I'm busy, I have problems, you're rude, you talk badly about my business. Looks like the owner can't stand the truth and say sorry. 1 word - big difference. Just say sorry! Do not try to make me feel sorry for you, we all have our problems.
And then, the owner started to be rasist. He asked if I'm Russian, started to say bad things about my nationality. Super offensive and unnecessary. I don't care who you are as long as you're human! Shame on you. In the end he accused me that my English is bad. I mean that person started to estimate my personal qualities....
Read moreI am absolutely in love with this place, I’d say this is at the top of my list of things to do in Ubud.
I came back everyday for a month, and here’s why:
they actually care about health, so the food is clean and doesn’t skimp on good quality ingredients AND they keep the prices very reasonable so it’s available to everyone.
it’s the best food I’ve ever had, especially because it’s raw - the creativity and options available here are really like nowhere I’ve ever been before. I used to be put off somewhere if it was raw but I have been forever changed because of this place.
if you’re looking to really level up health wise I recommend coming to eat here as much as possible, I feel like I’ve levitating after my month raw vegan, my skin is glowing and I feel stronger than ever.
