My wife and I stayed at Pazziella last weekend for our honeymoon, and we couldn't be happier of our decision to book our stay here despite having received recommendations for other hotels in the island.
I come to the Amalfi coast to visit family every year and I've always told my wife that in order to truly enjoy Capri, you simply have to stay in the island at least a few nights, and I think there's no better place to do so than the Pazziella Garden & Suites.
This hotel is truly a gem: quiet, luxurious, clean, and close to the town center, yet far enough that you don't feel engulfed in the chaos of peak hour in the island. The staff is outstanding, from the ENTIRE gracious and very helpful front desk team, to the servers at their restaurant (which by the way, is also amazing) with special shout outs to Francesco and Vladislav.
We had a beautiful suite with a partial view of the sea. The court yard is also very relaxing and perfect to have a drink at.
The other hotels of the island in this category just don't appeal to me for the simple facts that they're too chaotic and that they're the classic places to "just be seen" for your insta post... not my style!

Read moreLovely newly redone hotel in downtown Capri. My wife and I stayed originally for 2 nights but extended to 4 when our plans changed. Rooms were comfortable and had a nice terrace with a stone bathtub / jacuzzi and chaise lounges. Hotel staff were very attentive and diligent in helping us make dinner reservations and day plans. The thermostat was broken in one of our rooms and the manager personally worked to reset it, eventually doing so the same day we noticed the issue. The included breakfast was good - yogurt and fruit in addition to the normal Italian breakfast pastries and bread. The pool area is lovely and serene and includes an outdoor gym (we didn’t use it, but it looked nice and new).
Beyond those pluses, biggest reason to stay here though is the location. It’s just on the far end of town, but still in the downtown itself so there are restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping right near you but you have some distance from the piazzetta which is crowded. It’s only a 5-10 min walk from the Funiculare, and we didn’t walk more than 10 mins to any of our dinner reservations. Perfect location!

Read moreI would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at Pazziella Hotel for making our honeymoon truly unforgettable. From the very first moment, the warm welcome and thoughtful preparation made us feel special in every way.
I have stayed in many luxury and world-class hotels before, but I can sincerely say that the service here stands above them all. The attention to detail, the personal touch, and the genuine care shown throughout our stay made this experience the most memorable one yet.
A special thanks to the Housekeeping Manager for the immaculate care, to General Manager Alfonso Saraco for his outstanding leadership, and to Massimillano for his hospitality and warm welcome. You all made us feel not like guests, but like family.
This was without a doubt one of the greatest stays of my life, and I will always cherish the memories of our honeymoon...
