Godò Capri — Restaurant in Capri

Had an interesting experience here at Godò. The food was excellent. The service staff were beyond attentive and generous. The vibe/interior design is incredible and they even had a live DJ. Unfortunately, We were seated right next to another table when the restaurant was completely empty. We asked to switch tables to get a little space and were told that the restaurant was completely booked out and they could not move us. There was another couple that came in after us and didn't prefer their table either so they sat at a table that was not for then and the manager (I think her name was Jenna) physically took one of the tables away from them. We were there for 3 hours and nobody else came in and sat at the tables that we or the other couple asked for. The restaurant is excellent, the staff did everything they could to win us over after being told we couldn't change tables. The chef is incredible, the staff is the best, the restaurant itself deserves 5 stars but whoever is handling reservations and the seating is going to lose this restaurant customers and money. They are a new restaurant and deserve a chance to work out the kinks so I am giving it 5 stars and Highly...

This is our fave new spot in Capri! This awesome island needs more creative spaces and menus and Godo ('enjoy' in Italian) delivers. The space is modern, comfortable and very cool with a nice long bar (we love eating at bars) & there are also plenty of tables, plus an open kitchen design. The service is exceptional, everyone there is super friendly and attentive. Vincenzo, the manager, and Anna are especially welcoming. They have a great cocktail list, and the food menu is very creative as well. The food is beautifully presented and delicious. We had the beef tartare, an excellent cut of steak perfectly ground with anchovy mayo and hazelnut cream. Yum! Next we had the tortelli alla nerano, a perfectly cooked pasta with creamy provolone in a zucchini sauce, provolone 'cookie' with prawns on top. They usually serve the shellfish raw, but they happily cooked ours when we asked. Delicious! We come to Capri every year and we will return to Godo...

We stumbled upon this sushi spot while searching for Asian cuisine, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Though the prices were higher than typical Japanese benchmarks, the attention to detail in both plating and presentation was clear. The wine pairing was impressively curated — the rosé especially stood out, offering a refreshing twist on the usual seafood pairing. The signature cocktail added a creative flair to the meal. Maki rolls were enjoyable, though the nigiri portions felt a bit modest for the price. A bowl of miso soup would have completed the experience nicely.
