Pane & Champagne — Restaurant in Capri

Lunch time. We had a voucher from the travel agency so we suppose to have a certain menu at a certain price. Once in the restaurant we decided to change the main dishes.. accordingly with the staff we were going to pay a little extra for the the dishes. However the seafood spaghetti was supersalty. And to be honest the turkey was nothing special served on a basic French fries. To make it worst the staff was very unprofessional and the supervisor was really unpolite. We felt very bad and kind of fooled. He was vulgar and villain. What supposed to be a standard price was trigged to be a double the real price of the voucher we had. A disaster. It's a pity because the food is actually great but everything else is horrible. The waiter doesnt speak a word of english or Spanish, doesn't now how to serve and if there is more than two tables he doesn't know what to do with himself. For being a 15+ euro per dish restaurant you would at least expect a good service. We waited 15 minutes just to get the menu 20 minutes for water. 50 minutes for the entres and we got our main dish 1 hour and a half after arriving. They got our order wrong. EVERYTHING went bad. For a 150 euro for three people I really recommend you to look...

After going to other great places to eat in Capri, we made a reservation in this place for dinner. The place is very beautiful, hidden in a charming alley of the town. We had great expectations after the superb dinner we had at La Floridiana. Some plates are good like spaghetti nerano and fritura calamari gamberi. My steak “bisteca di manzo” at 30€ is not worthy. The calamari was bad too, dry and hard to eat. Service is ok despite of the mess in the sequence of the dishes. At least they didn’t charge...
