From the moment we arrived in Cortona i knew we made the right choice for our accommodations. The staff at Le Bifore are some of the kindest people i have met in my lifetime. they go out of their way to make you comfortable and welcome. They come get you when you are lost and escort you to your destination, they make sure you have every comfort you could possibly imagine. After a long day wandering thru the beauty of Tuscany, coming back to the beautiful smiles of our hosts and early evening spritzer was most welcome and appreciated.
The lobby of the hotel is so beautiful and clean that you never want to leave it, seriously, I could have slept on the sofa. The breakfast is wonderful, fruits and yogurts, cereals and juices, cheese and meats cakes and pies and the best cafe americano i had in Italy.
The rooms were everything you could possibly imagine from the pictures. absolutely beautiful. and the view from the deluxe room was breathtaking. The shower heads are AMAZING and the beds were very comfortable.

Read moreWe recently stayed at Le Bifore as a family of 4. We stayed in the deluxe king suite and it was beautiful. Like others who have posted, we also got lost coming into town. We called the property and Margarita came to help us. We didn't make a great first impression as my husband (who hadn't driven a stick shift in 15 years) almost killed us driving on the narrow steep streets. Once we got to the hotel it was magnificent. Large room. Very clean. Everyone on staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in a great location. Right in the center of town just steps from shopping and restaurants. We felt comfortable enough to let the kids 12 and 14) explore on their own and run out for pizza in the square. Breakfast of pastries and fruit was prepared everyday. They also made us eggs upon request. Our first morning we had to catch an early train to Florence so they prepared breakfast early to accommodate us. Overall lovely stay and highly recommend if you...
Read moreA little challenging to find but the Owner or Manager is happy to get your phone call and guide you through this beautiful hillside town in the south Tuscan/Umbria area of Italy to their amazing little gem of a hotel. It has been recently purchased and redecorated turning it into a darling, romantic boutique hotel with historic presence but completely modern bathroom amenities and fresh, crisp linens and appearance in the rooms. Perfectly situated on the outside perimeter of the town, it gives stunning views of the valley below as you walk out the front door. A quick walk takes you into the narrow streets where little shops of every kind delight the senses. The town square with its ancient church is close by and one can choose from numerous cafes or restaurants to enjoy a cappuccino or a delicious Italian meal. Lovely breakfast area with breakfast included and free wifi makes this...
