My favorite place in Cortona! I have returned home, and I am craving more of their delicious pappa al pomodoro! Not to mention the pecorino ham and truffle sauce sandwich (really..that is so good it should be illegal!)...and nothing beats sitting outside sipping on one of the best cappuccinos in Cortona. Still, it is the staff that kept us coming back. Jacob, Sylvia, Danilo and Francesco are amazing people, and their kindness was an important part of our time in Cortona. We came for a wine tasting and lingered for 3 hours. This little wine store has the loveliest staff who really care about your experience. They were very kind to accommodate a friend in my group who only drinks dessert wines by modifying the tasting to her palette. The fresh-baked bread with salt and olive oil is the best I have ever tasted – and I’ve eaten a lot of bread in my travels. I appreciated the winery recommendations of where to visit while in the region as well as the lovingly-made snacks presented to us over the course of our time...

Excellent local wine and food selections. Service is friendly and accommodating. Very relaxing ambiance. The staff makes great recommendations; I would trust their judgement on everything from food, to, wine, to beers. Sylvia, Jacob, and Margarita made us feel so welcome.
