The service was great. Front desk was fast and efficient. We booked with Expedia so we paid before arrival. They gave us a key (it is very bulky and a bit of a pain to carry around) and a gentleman helped us with our bags up to our room. We were on the 4th floor and had a wonderful view of the Duomo. The room was clean and had a blow dryer. The amount of outlets were limited (one in the bathroom and on under the TV) we unplugged the phone in order to use that outlet for out power converter. They do have USB plugs right next to the bed. Bathroom was small but it was clean and served its purpose. The bed was not great. It is two twin mattresses pushed together and not very comfortable (okay for me but my significant other was NOT a fan.) there was no fitted sheet it was just a top sheet wrapped around the two mattresses, we found odd. There were blankets in the closet we used (we do not like to use the top comforter when we stay in hotels.) there were slippers provided which was a nice touch. To lock the door at night you have to use the key to lock the deadbolt (pain in the butt.) To lock and open you room door is also a bit of a pain. Breakfast is served on the 1st floor and it was great. They do offer cappuccinos but you have to ask, they have regular coffee available right away. The location was great. Walk right out and to the left is the Ponte Vecchio, to the right the Duomo and right and then left is the Piazza De La Republica. Great restaurants around and gelato places everywhere. The WiFi was touchy, not very reliable. On the weekends people stay out late and you can hear them in the street and may find it hard to sleep. Pros: location, cleanliness, view, service, breakfast, slippers, mini fridge, hair dryer. Cons: WiFi, mattress comfort, mattress linens, number of outlets, bulky room key.

Stay away from room #105!The room appears to have not been cleaned in years. I spent one night here and had the worst night of my trip! WiFi was weak.The mattress and pillow were firm and uncomfortable. A loud air conditioning fan. The bathroom if this room has a bad odour and dirty as well ( there was a spiders over the roof of the bathroom! ) pictures provided as well as the hot water in the shower is mild at first but quickly becomes hot. The phone was not working, and the kittle was dirty and unusable. The room is directly in front of the restaurant and it was very noisy, especially in the early morning because it was breakfast time. This is the first time I've seen a hotel put the restaurant on the same floor as the sleeping rooms, and the front desk employee refused to give me a high floor room, and opening the window is extremely loud. Next day, I requested to change the room and a special thanks for lady vittoria the front office agent which was very cooperative and kind and responded directly to my request. They gave me a better room on the third floor with an apology message and a small nice gesture from the hotel team, which is the main reason I gave them 3 stars. Another two advantages for this hotel are the centrally location and room size, which were ideal. However, the breakfast buffet was limited, and the breakfast restaurant area was small. Overall, they should reconsider their prices, as it is considered an overpriced hotel in comparison to its services, facilities, size, and level.

We flew to Florence for a honeymoon without reservations anywhere and we stumbled into this hotel and was immediately greeted with smiles and warmth. They couldn’t have been more accommodating to us during our stay. Every staff member in the hotel was engaging, positive, and helpful. Habiba ran breakfast in the morning and was so welcoming and attentive! She is incredible and a huge asset to this establishment. Every morning we dined in for breakfast she greeted us with smiles, remembered our coffee orders, and made us feel very welcome. The concierge team was also top notch and helped us with anything we needed for getting around town and making dinner reservations. Laura and Vittoria are amazing and went above and beyond for us. I was so impressed with the rooms and the sound dampening quality of the new windows installed. The sounds of the busy streets below just disappear. This place is in a great location in the middle of everything two blows from the duomo and two block to the palazzo vecchio. I would recommend this place to any traveler to the area and we will be back for sure! Thank you for making our honeymoon truly amazing !

Our rooms were always clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy, welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay.||The breakfast was a highlight every morning, offering a great variety of delicious options to start our day. |The staff truly made our experience unforgettable.||A special thank you to Vittoria at the front desk, who greeted us with a warm smile every time we passed through. She was incredibly helpful with directions and recommendations, making us feel like we were old friends. Eva, the evening housekeeper, also deserves a mention for her impeccable attention to detail and the extra care she put into ensuring our rooms were perfect each day. During breakfast, Silvia went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and was always so friendly. Lastly, a huge thank you to Murphy, who added an extra touch of charm and personality to the team.||We couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and we will definitely be returning on our next trip to Florence.
