I’m really disappointed in the fact that the stay had been ruined for me on Christmas Day, before arriving I tried to contact the hotel to book the Christmas dinner which they had sent me menus for, I emailed to ask to book a table which I never got a reply for, I then messaged on Booking.com to try and book which was also ignored so I assumed nothing had been booked as I didn’t receive a booking confirmation or any sort of confirmation at all for the dinner. When I arrived at the hotel, I asked the front desk if they could book the table and they then informed me that it wasn’t a dinner, it was a lunch so I didn’t go through with the booking, instead I had a few of the staff help me book a table for dinner for Christmas Day at another restaurant, this was 2 days before Christmas Day as I arrived on the 23rd. On Christmas Day I received a call to my hotel room and was informed that I had to pay for the original dinner at the hotel, I explained that nothing was booked/confirmed and on the phone the lady saw that both messages had been ignored and told me that she would look into it. The next day I found out I had been charged €300 for the dinner with no warning, as soon as I saw my bank statement I went downstairs to talk to the receptionist. The first receptionist just basically tried to push the problem away and didn’t help at all, she said that she’d call and speak to the lady who spoke to me the day before and that I could only sort the issue out when she was in, which coincidentally happened to be the time I had to check out of the hotel, so the next day I went downstairs before check out to try and sort the situation and after a long conversation with the receptionist after explaining my issues she agreed with me said that this shouldn’t have happened and even apologized saying it was wrong but explained that the manager had told them that I had to be charged for the meal and then I asked to speak to the manager which was when I was told that he wasn’t in and couldn’t be contacted because of the holidays. I think this was such an unprofessional and awful way to handle this situation. For a 5* hotel and the money you’ll pay to stay here they have really let themselves down and I will definitely not be coming back, and especially the fact that no one was there that is in the position to be sorting out issues like this. If you’re going to stay I would be very careful for what card you put down and expect them to be unorganized and charge you for no reason. Also I had left details with reception for the Manager/Owner to get back to me and no has contacted me.

We regrettably stopped in for lunch. Food is mediocre at best. My meatballs were undercooked and cold in the middle.

We stayed at this Hotel .

This is the Worse hotel ever!!!! . Bugs in the room and very dirty . The sheets were not even changed .There was hair in on the bed sheets from the previous guests - Do not stay here !!

The owner was very mean and not very hospitable !

One day , my family and I bought gelato and we went inside the hotel and sat in the small dinning room to eat the gelato . The owner came and kicked us out of the dinning room .. He said he could do what ever he wants because it’s his hotel

This hotel , unfortunately , does not have a lobby or small seating area to sit and relax, otherwise we would have sat in the lobby.

Also , earlier in the morning we spent over $80 euros for breakfast at the hotel in the same the dinning room . Our 3 days there cost over $1,600 Euros for a dirty hotel — never again !

I will say that the staff were very nice and helpful.

I would not recommend staying here or dealing with a stupid owner that decides to make rules that fit his own personal revenue agenda.

7-11-2024 The owner is misleading people

When we arrived at the hotel bedsheets were already dirty and we had to have them cleaned the first day

Also, when we first arrived there were bugs in the bathroom .

Lastly , we left the room organized and we cleaned as well

Again the staff was very polite and very helpful . They deserve 5 stars .

The owner deserves negative stars . Education in the hotel business requires common sense and good customers service . - This owner doesn’t have...

My review is only about the hotel’s restaurant. The evening started very nicely, we were greeted by male host ( he did not introduce himself). We decided to eat at that restaurant because of mushroom display outside. The host offered us very nicely described dinner of chicken, roasted mushrooms and mashed potatoes. My husband and I decided to share the meal. The chicken was nicely done, small bawl of mashed potatoes was nice addition, the mushrooms were not cooked long enough for me to enjoy it, but I decided not to comment on it to the host. We also ordered dessert, which was very well done. However when the bill came, I could not control my surprise and disappointment. We were charged €20 for a small bowl of mashed potatoes, when the same restaurant charges €24 for the lamb dish. the mushrooms, which there were probably 8 -10 small mushroom were €30. I think the host could see my surprise and took €15 off the mushroom price. I still cannot get over the €20 price for mashed potatoes. My advice if you decide to eat in that restaurant to make sure you know the price...
