My Secret Condotti — Hotel in Rome

The name of this boutique hotel should be changed to My Invisible Condotti, because finding it the first time can be a challenge to say the least. You are looking for a small acrylic sign about 8 inches wide by 6 inches high with the name in italics at about eye level near 7A Belsiana (not Via Condotti). The check-in desk is on the second floor behind 3 separate doors, and so you must be admitted (buzzed in) by someone first. Check-in hours are limited. BUT - the location is great, and the price is right. Rooms are average and in need of maintenance, but generally good value for money. You CANNOT drive to this hotel. It is in the restricted zone (ZTL) and you WILL get a ticket 6 months later...

Soggiorno al quanto agghiacciante. Ci siamo recati in struttura per passare un week end dedicato ai saldi, premetto che il nostro arrivo in struttura era previsto dopo le 19. Chiamiamo per comunicare l’orario esatto e ci dicono che visto che saremmo arrivati dopo le 19 avremmo dovuto pagare un supplemento di 30 euro. E va beh . Arriviamo in struttura ci accoglie un ragazzo non italiano molto gentile . La struttura pulita e le camere belle. La prima cosa che pensiamo di fare prima di uscire è una bella doccia calda, ma ahimè nella nostra stanza l’acqua calda non funziona. Chiamiamo la struttura ma nessuno risponde più. Usciamo quindi senza lavarci. L’indomani pronti per uscire proviamo ad aprire l’acqua , ma di quella calda nemmeno l’ombra. La struttura ci dice che non possono far nulla in quanto festa, e quindi ci propongono di farci lavare in un atro bagno di in altra camera non appena sarebbero usciti gli ospiti. Abbiamo aspettato 1 ora e per accontentarci ci siamo lavati in una camera usata e non ancora pulita( terribile) . Alla reception ci dicono che al nostro rientro avrebbero provveduto a cambiarci di camera o risolvere il problema. Rientriamo ma tutto rimane come prima. Insomma per due giorni abbiamo sofferto di non aver potuto usufruire dell’acqua per lavarci. La strafottenza della struttura ci ha sconvolti. Non ci ritorneremo mai più. È stato un incubo non potersi lavare per 2 giorni....

It is a scam, do not book here! I booked the room in December to stay there at the end of January. The money was immediately after the booking was taken from my credit card, however, my booking was cancelled on the day of the arrival. Since than I’m not able to reach the property neither on phone, nor by email or facebook. They basically took 200 euros from me... be aware and don’t make the...
