We booked a 2 bedroom family suite for 1 night (thank God!) before a flight out of Rome the following day - early Sept 2023. We stayed here specifically to be very close walking distance to Trevi fountain (and to try to stay under 1K for a single night booking as we knew we were arriving late in the evening 7PM and then leaving early in the AM at 7 - so just 12 hours - most of which was supposed to be a night's sleep). Our correspondence for the booking and arrival was very cordial and professional...... however - upon arrival: one of the worst hotel experience EVER - and we have stayed in them all 2 to 5 star and everything in between. I've stayed in nicer / cleaner hotels/shacks in the middle of the rain forest in Costa Rica. Location close to all but in a DIRTY noisy busy busy busy piazza - the hotel entry is not easy to find next to run down filthy bodegas and other touristic street shops - the arrival process was very chaotic and uneasy even with luggage from the taxi curbside to the hotel entry just being 10 feet - my anxiety about this place kicked in the moment I saw the dirty glass entry doors (not exactly functional / safe) - lobby and reception is old worn shape - fugazzy set up with single staff member at the desk who was beyond interesting into creepy. The rooms - well lets say that photography, photoshop, propping and website marketing was a HUGE success because in reality this place was 2 star and we paid about 800E for one night based on those "vibes". Def a scam bc the hotel is worn, old, in terrible condition and on top of that the guestrooms dirty and floors were literally FILTHY (do not walk barefoot). Needless to say I did not sleep that night. Search elsewhere or beware - the website and photos are a wild deception. Late post bc a friend just asked for recommendations for hotel's in Rome - I immediately thought of this one to tell her .....NOT to book here!!! better to stay in a Holiday Inn or sleep in the airport lounge - at least you know it will be clean and can actually sleep. This place is a NO NO NO BUENO! Correction: 892.80 E night - never have I stayed in a hotel property with such a disparaging discrepancy between cost and actual offering = value. Truly unbelievable, ...
Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel, and while the building itself appears renovated and fine, the overall experience was unsettling. The room had a creepy vibe, and there were very few staff members, all of whom seemed to be doing everything themselves. It felt like the staff was constantly watching us, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. The front desk was often empty, and we had to call them multiple times, only to find out they were off the property.
When we checked in late, the room wasn’t properly cleaned—there were water stains on the mirror and hair in the shower, but we couldn’t do anything due to the time. We requested an iron, and they sent us one that was dirty, stained, and had a broken water tank. They admitted they knew about the condition but said it was the only one available. Later, they replaced it, but weirdly, they entered our room without permission, even though we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign up.
I didn’t feel safe during my stay and was just waiting for the experience to be over. This was far from what I expected from a boutique hotel. Stay away if you value your comfort and peace of mind. I’ve never had such a bad...
Read moreSo let’s first start with the good things. The rooms are nice. Good bed and pillows. Nice bathroom. The roof terrace is also very nice. However, we wouldn’t want to return to this hotel. Let me elaborate: we booked the so called “honeymoon package” which should’ve included fresh fruit, nuts in the room and a bottle of sparkling wine. Technically we had two apples in the room so I guess that’s the “fresh fruit” part, but no bottle of Prosecco. I asked for a bottle after two days and then they provided it, which is odd. Hotels usually have it ready in the room. So don’t book the honeymoon package, there’s really nothing special that comes with it. In the end, the hospitality just wasn’t there. For example there was no help with the bags, so when we arrived the receptionist even elegantly maneuvered around our bag when we exited the elevator. It was quite funny and a bit odd. In conclusion, it’s fine to stay here, but to be honest, for the price point I really think you can find a nicer place. Oh and fyi, internal view really means you’re gonna be looking at walls. So no sunlight. We didn’t mind, but just a heads up for people who may need daylight...
