Where to start - firstly we were seated downstairs at this restaurant where there was just one waiter for an entire room, which was close to full. While it took quite a while to order we tried to remain very understanding.
Once we had ordered our wine turned up but was not opened at this time. It sat on our table like an ornament while the waiter was busy helping other patrons. Then our mains arrived in pretty quick time, before our antipasti and the wine being opened. Then our antipasti arrived, which sat on the table while we finished our mains, still with the wine unopened. Finally the wine got opened when we were more than half way through our respective meals.
When the bill came, we had been charged for a bottle of wine which was twice as expensive as the wine we had ordered. I brought this to the waiters attention, but he insisted on arguing that the bill was correct even with an obviously different bottle of wine sitting on the table in front of us. After a conversation that lasted for an extended period, the error was finally acknowledged.

Read moreWe came here one night for drinks while they had live music, it was a lot of fun so we decided to return for dinner tonight. Unfortunately after traveling around Europe for the past few weeks this was the first disappointing meal we've had. We had been eating a lot of pasta and pizza over the past week that we've been in Italy (of course) so we decided to try something different; I had a dish described as veal rolled with ham and basil I believe, but for thin peices of meat there seemed to be an excessive amount of fat, the taste was okay at best. My husband ordered a chicken dish which was actually quite tastey until you realized that they cut the meat with bones in, so every bite you took was a gamble as to whether or not there was small bone fragments in the chicken. Judging by other posts, if you're going to visit this place stick to the drinks or perhaps pizza and pasta, but I would not recommend based on...
Read moreWent here one evening with friends. We were in the mood for a certain Italian dinner experience. We all were pleased to find this restaurant and enjoyed it.
LOCATION: —Not too far from the Trevi Fountain. —Across the street from a swanky spa. —Indoor seating on the top floor is a bit tight; there’s also seating downstairs. There’s outdoor seating, which is where we sat. It was quaint and pleasant and lots of people watching.
FOOD —Very good; enjoyable including the tiramisu. —Food was served within a reasonable amount of time.
SERVICE —It was busy, so we had to flag down the waiter on a few occasions, but he was apologetic, offered good suggestions for food, alcoholic beverage and dessert. All to our liking.
OTHER —They have a singer and band on some evenings. That was so much fun. Kinda like a sing a along, or maybe that was just my take on it. —Bathrooms are downstairs and...
