I would not recommend this accommodation. ||Firstly we arrived at the check-in time. A lady was there named Marian, who was expecting us, however hardly spoke any English. The first thing she asked for was for us to pay the City Tax, which she charged 56 Euros for 2 people, 4 nights. We requested a receipt, however she did not provide one (as we checked out, we came to realise that she should of charged us 3.5 euro each per day, as per the website, which should of been 35 euros total).||We also had to initially ask how the breakfast worked. The lady asked if we wanted a quasont and what flavour, and we received the same flavoured quasont for 5 days. There was yogurt in the fridge, however was out of date. There was no variety on offer.||The bathroom was grimy and felt dirty. The rooms where also extremely noisy, you could hear guests, hear the water when it was turned on and constant banging from the exterior doors. ||The aircon turned on, however did not cool the room. It also was extremely noisy. ||The hairdryer was cut and left on the wall. There was a replacement, however this is not what you expect paying such a high amount. ||I would not recommend this place to stay and want a refund for...

Read moreThis hotel is not actually a hotel. In fairness, it does say Guest House. The Rome Central Rooms is a small renovated partial flat with three rooms and a central kitchen. You can get daily room clean up if you want, but no front desk. The hotel was also confusing to find, but once we figured out they were rooms to let, it was easy. The owners responded to their text right away to buzz us into the building door. There are locks to get into the building, the front door, and your room. Put numbers in your phone and remember the key. No problems. ||The hotel is located in a safe, neighborhood area and close to a delicious cafe and grocery store. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Great deal! Well located. We took Ubers, but bus stop right out front. This would be perfect for that large family or multiple families that needed extra rooms/space and can keep costs down. The owners were available by text and they do offer an inexpensive breakfast. I would skip it and to to the cafe for a little more cost. I think you could cook there if you like. Overall, I liked it. Met all of my personal needs: safe, clean, and in a...
