BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!!!!
I have stayed in hotels across the globe and this is honestly THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. First, when I book hotels I filter for a 24 hour front desk, which this BB claimed. They contacted me asking for a general check in time so I provided one. I contacted the BB to let them know I was arriving a bit late (which shouldn't even matter with a 24 hr front desk). I showed up 20 min late to an unlabeled busted up door with about 30 apartment style labels written in pen, one of which was "sweety". I rang it for 10 minutes and noone answered. I came back and rang it for 5 more min and then left. Some dude told me it was run by the owner of the chinese restaurant next door but they seemed clueless. I requested a refund for the cancellation since they misled me into thinking it had a 24 hour front desk and did not show up but they refused even though they were able to rent the room later that night. I now have a credit card dispute filed. My question is who rated this place a 2 or more stars????
On another note: it's in a terrible neighborhood. If you don't believe me, I chatted with a police officer who told me no traveler should be staying in this area.
UPDATE: I was granted a full refund from my fraud dispute. These putrid owners should...
Read moreMy wife and I stayed at Sweety for 2 nights as it was so close to the termini (train station) so we could get to the airport easily. Sweety was clean, modern and a very reasonable price. I would class Sweety as a short stay location. We had a problem getting the wifi to work initially, and I found the air conditioner in room 3 noisey at night.||||The reception desk is not manned, so be sure to inform the owner of your arrival time. We arrived on time, and the owner's father was there to greet us. The owner can be reached by phone.||||As stated by others, the area itself may not be suitable for everyone, but we had no problem.||||I was hoping to be able to print up my boarding pass for the plane, however, Sweety does not have the facility to do this. So if you need something printed you will have to go to the internet cafe nearby.||||The room we had was on the small side, but met our needs. Overall we were happy with our stay.||||The train to the airport is 16 euros, however, there are shuttle buses at the side of the termini, a minute's walk away from Sweety that gets you to the airport within 45-60 minutes. We paid 4 euros each, but another bus driver was...
Read moreMy husband and I chose this B&B mainly because it was close to the Termini train Station. We arrived late afternoon in November, it got dark quick. ||We walked quite a while and missed the entrance because on the way, the sidewalk split at a certain point. ||When we noticed we had passed the address, we had quite a number of stairs to do to get back at the top of the sidewalk. ||Many people were just standing outside the entrance, it was a little intimidating to pass by them. ||The B&B is located on a floor inside an huge apartment building. The place has a very tight elevator, just the width of our luggage. The young owner came to greet us downstairs, was very polite but only spoke English.||The entrance to the actual place was very small. The small room had a double size bed and a small bathroom. ||It was clean but we ran out of the only already started roll of toilet paper and couldn't find another spare one. ||I had to call the owner at 11:30pm to ask if there were any available. ||He said no and was going to provide only in the morning! ||It was on the fine line of "ok" for the 2 nights we were there, but personally I...
