A fabulous little hotel with just six rooms but lots of charm and wonderful service. We had two nights at Meuble Evoe and it was just perfect. We would happily stay here again.|The two best features were the location and the warm hospitality of the owners.|LOCATION: The hotel is right in the historic centre of Montepulciano, making it a perfect place for exploring the town. Wineries, restaurants, and all the main sights were all within easy walking distance.|SERVICE: Honestly, the service was above and beyond. We arrived later than expected but rang ahead and Benedetta very kindly offered to stay on to help us when we arrived. This was fortunate for us because we also had trouble finding the parking spots at night. She helped us out with parking and then met us at the corner of the street so that she could take us straight to the hotel door. At the end of a long day when we were tired and lost, it made all the difference and we were very appreciative. |In the planning stages of our trip, they were quick to answer emails and gave us clear directions on how to drive to the hotel (which is important because GPS directions are pretty rubbish here). On the day we checked out, they were also very accommodating in holding our bags for us while we explored the town a little further.|ROOM: The room was small but comfortable and was perfectly adequate for two nights. It was very clean and nicely presented. We had a ground floor room, just off the lobby but it was quiet and we were not disturbed at all during the night. Breakfast was included - and was served buffet style in the small dining room. The cakes were delicious and we spent longer over breakfast than we normally might, enjoying a few extra cakes and coffee.|CAR-PARKING: Importantly, the hotel has several free parking spots for guests. Like all the hotels in the historic centre, the parking is off-site but you can drop your luggage at the hotel first (we didn’t worry about this as the car-park was...
Read moreGiani & Luigi are amazing Host, From day one they took care of us, they helped us with the parking (free) and they also showed us some of the good local places we could visit while our stay in Montepulciano. The Service was impeccable, one thing that was a surprise to have was that the service extended to the cleaning of the room every day we stayed, we got clean towels, toiletries, bed made, clean room and a great smile every time we got back to our room from traveling around Montepulciano. There are a lot of good wineries and food places. Giani recommended a couple of them for us, prices where excellent, service every time was great and all and all, my wife have decided that next time we come to Montepulciano we will come to stay are Luigi's and Giani's place. Just when you park make sure to park where they ask you to. Google's address on the parking situation is not correct. Pay good attention to follow and learn the directions when you follow Luigi or Giani. The rooms are clean, the service is amazing, the people and area is just right for a good time in Montepulciano, Everything is as promised on the net. The place is right close to all the center action, everything about Montepulciano is within a walking distance from the room. Again we are coming back and bringing our family and friends back! We are recommending this place to any one coming to visit...
Read moreOur stay was generally good. Communication (in English) with the owners was excellent. The free parking was definitely a bonus, and the breakfasts were quite good. It was well located for exploring Montepulciano, and close to the Piazza Grande. We stayed in the Orchidea room for three nights, and despite the restaurant located just below us, all was quiet by the time we went to bed. A couple things to be aware of - from the parking to the B&B was not far, but up a couple of very steep streets. Not a problem normally, but dragging luggage was difficult. If you're older (like us), you may want to arrange to drop your luggage off at the door before parking. Also, the shower is one of the smallest we have encountered in our European trips. It was very difficult not to bump the temperature control lever, risking...
