Absolutely Amazing Stay at Ori Ori House – A Hidden Gem Near Mt. Fuji!

Staying at Ori Ori House was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The house is beautifully designed – a perfect blend of traditional Japanese style and modern comfort. Everything was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged.

The location is ideal – peaceful and quiet, yet just a short distance from stunning views of Mount Fuji. Waking up to that view was simply magical! It’s also a great base to explore the area, whether you're visiting Lake Kawaguchi, taking a nature walk, or just enjoying the serenity of the surroundings.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed, and their recommendations for local spots were spot on. You can really feel the care and heart they’ve put into this place. I honestly wish we could have stayed longer. If you’re looking for comfort, authenticity, and a peaceful retreat near Mount Fuji, this is the place to be.

The house is spacious, very clean and well-equipped with many amenities - including bath towels, cotton, microwave, washing machine + detergent and dryer, good wifi and even has a TV with free Netflix and Disney+. I like the cute hammock on the balcony that you can see Mt Fuji from and the very comfortable beds.

The surroundings are also quiet and the house is near to Kawaguchiko Station, so it is easy to drag luggage to the house. There are also a few convenience stores within walking distance nearby, but you can use the well-equipped kitchen to cook too if you want.

We stayed here with 4 people in early Spring and it was fantastically value for money. The host is also friendly and can speak English. Would hope to return again the next time I come to...

Comfortable house for 4 people, especially with the abundance of amenities provided. Convenient location, with the house situated nearby to Kawaguchiko Station and 7-10 minutes walk away from konbini’s and the lake, making the trip with luggages to and from easy as well as food runs a breeze.Very quiet and cozy neighbourhood made the stay very comfortable too.

The TV is equipped with Disney+ and Netflix, and detergent is provided for the washing machine alongside a dryer. The view of Mt. Fuji from the house is just the tip of the iceberg. It is a spacious house, with comfortable beds, welcoming host and an equipped kitchen and bathrooms.
