Very local family run restaurant tucked away behind a cafe. The restaurant was highly rated on Google and was a little difficult to find initially because there's no big sign with the store name. It's behind a cafe and you have to walk through a parking lot.

Service was fantastic, all the staff were very friendly and greeted us upon seeing us. Since it was in the colder months, they had the seating area covered. And they also gave us little blankets since it was very chilly outside.

Menu was in both Japanese and English with pictures. Food came out piping hot and fresh. It was a no frills place that served excellent food Definitely recommend it to anyone in the area and it will be a place I plan to come back to when I visit again!

We had the friend chicken/karage, curry udon, and shrimp tempura udon. The broth for both the udons was flavorful...

I’m usually very generous with my recommendations—feel free to check my other reviews—but unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant.

The service was excellent, and the staff were polite, welcoming, and attentive. The place itself is modest but pleasant, with air conditioning —not luxurious, but good for the price.

However, the food was truly disappointing. We tried two types of ramen, and sadly, neither was edible. It was, without exaggeration, the worst ramen I’ve ever had—even worse than instant ramen from a convenience store. Everything about the dish was off: the broth, the noodles, the toppings.

I genuinely feel sorry for the kind team working there, but I wouldn’t return, regardless of the price.

I hope this feedback helps the restaurant improve. I sincerely wish the staff...

I LOVED IT HERE and you should definitely support their business. The owners were such polite, kind, nicest people, and I think it is such an underrated restaurant. You should definitely get the chicken Karaage and the houtou fudou or the set meals like the pork garlic set. For the drink? I absolutely loved their cafe latte with no sugar as it was so creamy and good. Wanted to gatekeep this place but seeing them trying to get customers with so much eagerness just make me really want to support their business.

The Hoto soup is so salty that my tongue went numb. Both of our orders are ridiculously salty, no matter which soup base you choose. It’s as if someone dumped an entire tub of salt in—totally not normal. But hey, it’s a tourist trap, and at least the staff is friendly. Ps : the fried chicken is the saving grace from the two other udon dishes. Still, whoever gave this place 4.9 stars needs to reevaluate their relationship with food. Yikes. I call this a full on terrorist assault on my taste buds.
