Cosy modernised ryokan style boutique accomodation. 10-15 minutes walk to the main gion street. If living and sleeping traditional style without wanting to compromise too much on modern amenties then this is a great choice. Our stay was overall good but sleeping on the floor was good but we found the place more dustier than we wished considering the floor sleeping. we often see no staff at reception which made requesting services a little inconvenient. But overall we were happy.In all, good experience just not perfect. Room itself...
