KA House — Hotel in Kyoto

The location of this apartment is highly convenient, being close to Kyoto station and having a nearby convenience store (7-Eleven) for quick essentials. However, for a larger supermarket, a longer walk is required.

One drawback is the limited kitchen utensils, particularly the lack of a proper knife, which could be inconvenient for guests planning to cook meals.

During our stay, we were surprised to find ongoing construction work continuing past 11 pm on regular weekdays. While this isn't the host's responsibility, it's worth noting for light sleepers or those sensitive to noise.

Additionally, the apartment might feel a bit dim or dark, which could be improved with better lighting.

Two stars for the location and charming landlady however if you’re expecting true zen experience, the photos are very misleading. We were in 1st floor with no balcony or tiny garden in a single room with tiny mattresses, you’re practically sleeping on a hard floor, hardly space to move and have a suitcase or sit (photo taken from opposite wall), sleeping was really bad due to very noisy street, no zen at all.
