first of all. garbage, garbage franchise of a hotel. if you ever want to visit Kyoto, completely rethink this hotel because i would rather stay in a dumpster side next time then to book a room here. completely overpriced for what they give you. if you decide to stay with more than another person with you in the room, you will be stuffed and feel suffocated because it’s so small and so humid and smells funky after a while due to no ventilation. the washrooms also have humidity because the shower curtains don’t stop the water from overflowing on the floor. when we lifted the covers to the mattress, there was a really big pee stain that looked like it hasn’t been changed in a month and it smelled putrid. the front service of the reception is completely unprofessional because they are either gone for half of the day or when they’re present and you ask them for something like water for example they’ll tell you to go use the tapwater which is in the washroom, which is unsanitary, and when we asked for a blanket because ours got dirty, they gave us a literalbedsheet to cover with. 100% do not recommend. you’re better off staying...

Room was super clean, well designed and comfy.
Free mugicha and water much appreciated.
Vibe in the lobby good enough for us to just hang out over drinks at the large communal table.
Well Done Team Wayfarer,...
