K's Villa Takasegawa-tei — Hotel in Kyoto

K’s Villa was absolutely amazing. As our first time travelling to Japan it was like a home away from home. Communication was great leading up to our stay. Apon arrival we were a little lost so when we picked up the keys from K’s House the administrator rode her bike so we could follow her to the accomodation. Location was fantastic, 20 minute walk to Kyoto Tower/shopping/city area. And close to Kamogawa River which we enjoyed walking along early morning or in the evening. Lots of great eats to explore. The washing machine was a bonus after travelling from Tokyo. Having the space as a family of four was great, the home was super clean and it was no trouble when we requested Afew extra pillows. It was an extremely peaceful and quiet residential area, the coffee grinder and fresh beans were the cherry on top of a memorable time in Kyoto. Could not rate this stay high enough....

Everything is perfect, from the staff to the location and especially the house. I really love the view of the little river Takase from upstairs. Their service is superb, with the offer of early checking in and a free taxi ride from the office to the house. They turned on the lights and air conditioner so we feel warm when coming in. The apartment is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and was very comfortable and clean. It fit four of us comfortably. It is easy to get to places from the apartment by door or bus or subway.
