Miro Sanjo Umemiyacho Tei — Hotel in Kyoto

Booked this place through booking.com. The house is nice but there is a big problem with the management. Although the booking confirmation mail said someone would be there to welcome us, nobody showed up. We spent two and a half hours outside the house with luggage, trying to call the number listed, no-one answered. The only contact we had was with employees who didn't know much about the house. We eventually managed to get in. There was NO WIFI, unlike what was advertised (not a problem with connection, no actual router in the house). Mistakes happen, but the main problem is communication as obviously it has been outsourced to some external company. As a consequence, my complaint email didn't get any reply and I can't reach the owner.
