Delicious ramen with lots of vegetables. Very friendly owner who helped us with our lack of Japanese. You can order using the machine at the door or he will provide an English menu. I had miso ramen and the best karaage chicken don of my life. My partner had the spicy miso ramen which gave me meal envy. I know I should talk about the ramen but honestly the karaage was next level. Get one of the sets which includes ramen and a side order of karaage chicken and pork chashu don if you can't decide. Wonderful little place where you can order via ticket machine with cash or in English (or other languages) with the Sri Lankan waitress who in Kyoto to study Japanese. The Ramen and Rice bowls were tasty with high quality ingredients. She was able to give me a vegetarian soy ramen bowl and I got an extra egg. She refilled our water very promptly many times. The experience was pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed this inexpensive and tasty restaurant and highly recommend it for tourists. Char siu, fried chicken with kewpie mayo etc were all tasty...

We were so grateful to stumble upon this quaint restaurant, especially with the lack of food options in the area. The spicy miso ramen broth was incredibly flavourful and hearty, the chashu was tender and tasty, the kaarage chicken was fried to perfection (light and crispy), and the staff was so kind to take our orders, knowing that we would have difficulties ordering using the machine, being non Japanese-speaking.
