We cancelled our stay after a couple of nights because the place was just way too noisy for us to get any good sleep. We could also see the lights of the room next door through our wall and unfortunately they were on the whole night. Furthermore there was only one shower for all the guests which made getting out in the morning a slow process. But that's cool, its an old place and if we had booked just one night for the experience that would be fine, but we'd booked 5 nights and it was a bit much. ||||The thing that really annoyed me though was that the hotel cancelled the booking completely with booking.com so we couldn't leave any feedback for other travelers, as you can't review a cancelled booking. We heard our neighbours talk at ungodly hours, you hear them watching videos on their phones, even literally hear them fart. Unfortunately, we stayed a whole week and for the first half we had neighbours who still talked and moved around until past 1am and then woke up before 7am. We never had a night of peaceful sleep. But because of this, the two futons almost didn't fit the room.
There is only one shower, and two toilets in the little courtyard, though the downstairs room has its own toilet and sink. The little common room is nice. I also think everything was kept as clean as possible and staff seemed to be nice, we only saw them coincidentally at checkout tho.
