Close to Nara Park AND Kintetsu-Nara Station. I came as early as 12pm to drop my luggage, however, my room was ready so I was glad to be able to check in super early. Lobby vibe felt like a 5-star hotel lounge. The receptionist can communicate well in english. The room was clean and comfortable for a solo traveller. Toilet can be crammed to some travellers especially plus sized one. The breakfast was delicious. They have range selection of dairy, vegetarian & egg options. Good thing no meat was served (as far as I know). I can't emphasize how muslim-friendy this place can be. One of the reason why I booked here in the first place. In front of this hotel also there's a tuna restaurant that's seems like muslim-friendly. So food choices by staying here is quite good! Should I come to Nara ever again, this will be my go-to for accomodation. Thanks for having me! Suggestion : It could be better if they provided some bottled drinking water & usb plugs in the room.

A budget-friendly stay in the heart of Nara. Located just a 2-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station in a pedestrian street and within easy reach of Nara Park and major temples, its location is ideal for sightseeing. The hotel features clean, compact rooms with comfortable beds and essential amenities. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast of freshly baked toast with a choice of toppings, salad, and a drink. The English-speaking staff are friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience. Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi, coin laundry facilities, and a rooftop terrace. While rooms are on the smaller side, they are well-maintained and offer good value for the price. Overall, it’s a cozy and convenient option for travelers exploring Nara.

There are some things you need to know when booking in this Hotel: 1- There are no phones in the rooms, so if you need anything you have to go down to the reception. 2- Breakfast menu is very limited, just a big fat toast with a topping of your choice. 3- They don’t have the “call us a taxi” service. 4- The hotel reception close at 11 pm. Otherwise, this hotel is cozy & feels like home. The neighborhood is clean and very quiet. It is very close to Nara Deer Park and the station. There is a Lawson & 7 Eleven near by. A shopping street and many restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay here! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The Japanese Western-style breakfast was a standout — absolutely delicious, and a great way to start the day. The hotel is in an ideal location, perfect for sightseeing and traveling around Nara. Nara Park is just a short walk away, and it's definitely worth a visit. The area is very peaceful, though do note that after 10 pm, things quiet down quite a bit, so if you're looking for nightlife or a party scene, this might not be the best choice for you. As for the room, while it was comfortable, it did feel a bit dated. There was a constant draft, which wasn’t too bothersome, but could become an issue in colder weather. The TV was small, and the toilet was a bit cramped, but the AC worked well, and the shower was just fine. One highlight was the roof terrace with its lovely view, perfect for relaxing. The cafe downstairs offered a variety of excellent menu options, and everything we tried was tasty. Overall, this hotel is great if you plan to spend most of your time out exploring Nara. While some aspects of the room could use a refresh, the warm service, great location, and tasty food made for a great stay. Would...

We stayed here for 2 nights, 2 weeks ago. It’s a recommendable place to stay.

Good: Simple but tasty breakfast. The fifth-floor terrace was a nice addition, providing a pleasant outdoor space. Convenient location, with the added benefit of being in a quiet area. Within walking distance to Nara Park, allowing for easy exploration. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Luggage storage service was available, which was helpful.

Bad: A few minor issues to note. The early checkout time of 10:00 was inconvenient, especially when considering the late check-in time of 15:00. It leaves guests wondering what the hotel does during the intervening hours. The mattress and pillows were found to be uncomfortable and a bit too firm for personal preference. While not a criticism, the hotel's use of the term "Bakery" may create different expectations in various locations, potentially...
