Love staying here! The place is clean, comfortable, and in a great location! My husband and I have enjoyed our time here. If we are back in Osaka next time, we'd like to stay here again!||Cleanliness is pristine! The building feels new or renovated well. It's set up with a women's only floor, capsules, and private rooms with shared showers, sinks, and toilets. Each shower has its own room as does each toilet. The sinks are located in the hall, with cabinets holding hair dryers underneath the sinks. My husband said this was the best shower he's had since leaving home! There was Pantene shampoo and conditioner and Dove body wash available at the shower rooms. They offer towels to use for 500 Yen and other toiletries are available for purchase ar the front desk. ||Laundry has been a godsend, since we've been backpacking and often rewear clothes on the road. Two washers and two dryers are available, coin operated. They take 100 yen coins. They also offer tide pods for 100 yen a piece. There's a roof access though I haven't checked it out yet. Will update review after checking it out. At the living area on the first floor there's a bar, kitchen, and seating with plenty of room and ambiance that's cozy and inviting. I met some locals who work at the hostel and are very friendly. I love the setup, it seems like travelers come and go, some working while staying there for free lodging. Drinks were around the 400 yen range, a good price for beer.||Location is convenient, a 8 minute walk to the brown line in Osaka. Close to Dotonbori (15 min walk) and lots of small restaurants and cafes to eat if you want something close.||Checking in, we arrived late. I booked a reservation through Expedia and added a message explaining we would arrive past closing time (22:00/10PM). On the day of check in I received a message via Expedia explaining that though there wasn't a person around that late they would make sure I would be able to get into my room. That extra mile was such a relief for me and my husband after many hours in transit. I'm very happy with the service and friendliness of the staff here at Hostel Hangout. At the bar I chatted with Narumi (sorry if I misspelled your name) who was so funny and great to swap stories with. ||Hope the details help! Thanks for a...
