(+) Amazing location. Close to Metro and JR train stations. (+) Convenience stores and shopping area within walking distance. (+) If you can't find a hotel or room near Tennoji Station, this is a great alternative. Only about a 10-minute walk. (+) Near major attractions: Spa World, Shin-sekai, Tennoji Park and Zoo, etc. (+) The room is super simple, but enough to get by. (+) The hotel offers a variety of times to borrow: pillows, blankets, hot kettles, etc. (+) Family Mart is connected to the hotel and there is 10% cashback offer. If you buy food from Family Mart, save your receipts. When you check out, give them to the front desk and they'll give you 10% back.
(-) Bed was super uncomfortable. By the end of the week, my lower back and shoulders were sore and in pain. (-) If you opt for the Breakfast plan, you will be given Food Tickets. The restaurant is across the street. You'll have to decided ahead of time if you want the Japanese breakfast or the Western "wiener" one. (-) If you're a light sleeper or sensitive to sound, be warned. The train tracks run behind the hotel, so it is very loud. Ear plugs available at the front desk. (-) Be very careful with your belongings. I forgot a small empty duffle bag in the room. When I called the next day, they claimed that it was not found in the room....
ย ย ย Read moreThis is my second time in Osaka. But itโs my first time to this hotel. The location is perfect, a walking distance to Dobutsuenmae subway station and Shin Imamiya Jr Line as well as Nankai Line going to Kix Airport. Just a few steps away to mega Donki, Maruhan, Munashi. I honestly do not know what to expect when I came but it was all good. At the ground floor there is a free coffee & tea from 06:00-12:00. Then thereโs a hot water, microwave, laundry 24/7. And when you buy from FamilyMart asked them for the receipt with stamp, give it to the reception, theyโll give you money (10% cashback), I used the money to buy laundry soap from them. The rooms are not sound proof but the train sounds surprisingly did not bother me at all. The reception has free toiletries when you need it just take it (toothbrush, hair clip, ear plugs, razor, comb, cotton buds and hair tie). The pillow is small and thin, but I asked an extra from the reception. Since I am wearing linen clothes I also borrow iron and...
ย ย ย Read moreStayed for 2 nights. The hotel is very clean and in a great location located near the Metro and Shin Imaya train line.
For the price I payed I canโt knock the place but be warned that the bathtub is extremely small. Not catered to big foreigners like myself. And the bed is brick hard. Also pray that youโre on a higher floor. I was on the 4th and unfortunately I could hear the train. Couldnโt sleep well the first night but the second with the assistance of a couple of beers I slept like a babyโฆ.haha!
The staff is extremely friendly and if I needed a place to stay in a pinch, I would come...
