Hotel Chuo Selene — Hotel in Osaka

Close to Shin-Imamiya train station if you travel by train or just 1 minute walk from Dobutsuen-mae subway station exit 3 ( Midosuji Line or Sakaisuji Line) but if you catch Nanki train from Kansai airport , it takes about 8 minute walk. The hotel is very clean, room is neat and comfortable with full equipments. There are small kitchen and laundry room at the first floor. The front door will be locked for security at midnight but all guests can unlock by their room key cards. My flight was 1.30 hour late so I arrived the hotel after midnight but the receptionist ( a man about 50-60 years old) opened the door for me and help me check-in with sympathy. He explained everything with very good English speaking. Behind the hotel, there is a well known Donki Department store or MEGA Don Quijote ( the most famouse one is in Dotonburi area). There is Family mart on the right side. Very convenient to take subway to Namba to enjoy shopping or take JR Osaka loop Line and transfer to JR Yumesaki Line at Nishi-Kujo station to visit Universal Sudio. Wi-Fi is good but PC at the lobby is not practical becuase the key board is out of date. It had no button for "@" , then writing e-mail to anyone is impossible!!!||I do suggest to make reservation directly to the hotel;selene@chuogroup.jp, it is easier to get a good room beacuse I found that there was no available room on the day I wanted by Agoda or Booking.com but after directly contact to the hotel, I easily got a room. We stay here for 11 nights in triple room on the 6th Floor. The hotel location is the best thing for this hotel, it close to JR Shin-Imamiya, Subway Dobutsuenmae, and Nankai Shinimamiya. Also, you can walk within 5 minutes to Tsutenkaku tower which is one of the sightseeing place in osaka. Lawson and Familymart are located on the corner of the street. Super convenience.||The staffs especially manager is not ok. He is not a friendly person at all. It was obvious that he has no service mind. Sometimes we feels like we are insulted because we are Thai since the first time we check-in and pay by cash. He kinds of surprise and talk to other staff in japanese like it's weird that we pay by cash not credit card. Then we think we're done from checking in but it's not. He tried to repeat us the rules and regulations in Thai which is waste our time since the English version was done before. Another morning we just tried to fyi that the pocket Wifi will be sent to the hotel but the manager''s mood is not good so he express the weird ignorance face to us. That's the moment i'm not ok with his manner. As i expected, he didn't note our request to other staff. At that night we have tried to ask the staff about our pocket wifi but woman staff don't understand English, so we have to try again with other staff in the late night.
