We loved staying at Serai vacation rental! We've stayed at several apartment type rentals in Japan, and this one surpasses all in comfort, cleanliness, location, attention to detail and hospitable host. We are a family of 5 and the beds and sofa bed were all comfortable. Everything in the apartment worked well. Appliances were modern and instructions were clear. The host sends a digital guidebook weeks before arrival with clear instructions for everything and was responsive within minutes through the booking.com messaging feature (we had no issues.. just informed the host we were arriving). The guidebook both digital and the one in the apartment were well thought out. There is a washer and dryer, and the dryer really works. Everything that you might need is included. Free coffee was good. Water machine was great. ||Location was great. Easy access to 2 subway stations. Within 10 minutes walk are Don Quijote, multiple grocery stores, and restaurants. Great place to explore Asakusa and Tokyo!...

Their multi-outlet USB charger tower came in extremely handy. The staff were extremely responsive via email and accommodating with our request for a late check out and a ground floor apt due to elderly parents. This was the largest accommodation I have seen in Tokyo with two air-conditioners, wifi, full-size kitchen, convection microwave, dining table, huge TV, washing machine and a highly effective drying mode in the bathroom. Only took 3 hrs for clothes to dry. There is a Family Mart and 7-11 across the road from the main street and a cheap Italian Sazeriya restaurant with bottomless sodas a minute away! And the Tawaramachi Subway Station is conveniently located just...
Read moreOur family of five stayed at Seirai Asakusa Vacation Rental for the last two nights of our first trip to Japan, and it was the perfect experience.
The host was incredibly responsive, easing all our concerns about location, luggage transfers, and storage. They even accommodated our early arrival, which we truly appreciated.
The apartment was spotless, well-designed, and surprisingly spacious—much more comfortable than the hotels we stayed at elsewhere. It fit our family easily with two double beds and a pull-out sofa, plus a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom with thoughtful amenities. The washer was a bonus.
The location was ideal—close to the train station, restaurants, and attractions. The only minor drawback was the lack of an elevator, but it wasn’t a big deal.
We loved our stay, and my son even called it his favorite accommodation in...
