Our family of 4 adults only stayed for one night in 2 rooms. ||||The whole hotel is only about 5 meters wide and fronts a busy road (Edo Dori?). At the front, you need to manually lift bags down 6(?) steps to get to reception but there is a rear entry at street level.||||Our room was at the south side, on the 5th floor. About 14 m2 with 2 single low mattresses on raised timber futon type bases. The beds are very firm and I found the pillows that we had to be very uncomfortable. The single window is not double glazed, so you will hear any noisy traffic and a background hum if the aircon isn’t on. The roller-blind was about 60 percent blockout. The small “module” style bathroom had a bath, hand shower with good pressure and shower toilet. Like most of these, there is a 30mm vent gap at the base of the door, so anyone in the small room can hear everything.||||I found the green light on the bedside light switch to be super bright and it woke me in the middle of the night. I ended up putting a bandaid over it. (It also annoyed my dauggther in her room.)||||Like other guests, we liked the views from the dining room and breakfast and the staff were very helpful. We found out the The nearest subway exits only connected with the Toei Asakusa line. It’s actually two more blocks to the normal Metro that...
Read moreStayed 8 nights in the Annex: Pros: If coming from Narita, take the Keisei Line as it's cheap, direct and no transfers. Use exit A2b with elevator. 9th floor and the rooftop are amazing. You can just chill there and enjoy the view. The room looks new, especially the restroom amenities. Spacious enough for 2 adults. Adequate if you're just using it for sleeping at night. Good service overall, but don't expect 3-star and above experience.
Cons: Lack of storage options in the room; no cabinet, etc. Everything is on the floor - I know this must be a theme/design, but seems like it isn't well thought out. It will be a nightmare if you have a toddler since everything is within reach. No light at the table area, which makes the area useless if you're trying to read or do something there. There are also exposed wiring which I think is really bad. Should have been in the wall. No curtains or blinds so you'll wake up during sunrise. No trash can in the toilet. No hooks behind doors; no towel rack or similar in the sink. So the floor will be frequently wet from...
Read moreVery accessible to Train lines. We checked-in @ past 8pm and the front desk is very helpful.
At 1st floor, they have toiletries section that you need to collect yourself and put it on your room, and at the same floor you can find the hot and cold water station, a coffee machine & teas.
The room is too tiny (haha!), but I would say it is on the compact side. Toilet is also tiny, so you need to be careful and cautious while using it. The liquid toiletries (shampoo & body gel) have good smell. However, the conditioner smells bad (I don’t know why).
They also provide yukata for you to change. I would say we had a good sleep in the room.
Next morning, we head down to 1st floor to get some complimentary breakfast (slice bread, butter, and do not miss the onion soup! It is very flavorful). Then we were told to have breakfast in the highest floor, and with a scenic view of Tokyo tower.
It is walking distance if you are going at Sensoji Temple.
Overall, it is a nice accommodation if you are searching for a place that is accessible to train lines and...
