While in Asakusa, my wife and I chose this ramen restaurant due to its unique offering of spicy miso ramen and its solid score on Tabelog. We ordered two bowls of spicy miso ramen via the vending machine in the front and with the help of the proprietor. The ramen here ended up being our favorite of our entire Japan trip. The strong miso backbone, subtle spicy kick, and smoky flavor from freshly stir fried bean spouts and pork led to an immensely flavorful bowl of ramen.

They have a regular miso and a spicy miso option, so I went with the spicy version (they also have a tsukemen I want to try). The soup was fabulous and I honestly wanted to drink the whole bowl. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the pork was fantastic, and the boiled egg delicious. I got a free raw egg which I added to some rice which was a nice complement to the ramen. The service was good too. It’s definitely on my favorites list and I highly recommend...
