Let me start by saying I stay in a lot of hotels as I travel with my job and my family. I rarely leave review but feel compelled to share my experience for others that might choose this hotel because it’s is not suitable for families at all! ||Our experience started well, being accommodated an earlier check at 12:30 when we had a 3pm checkin time was really great as we stepped off a long flight at 7am. ||On arrival to our room, we were incredibly disappointed. For context, I’m a mum travelling with two teenage boys in what was described as a triple room however the 3rd bed is not a proper bed, it’s a pull out, not ok for a 13 year old to sleep on for 6 nights. There is no storage in the entire room, there is no wardrobe (literally 6 knobs and hangers, that is it!) and no space to move so we needed the sofa area where the pull out was located to put our cases. So we ended up having to share two single beds between the 3 of us. ||The Bathroom is smaller than a cruise ship and it has half bath with the shower inside so it’s a very high step in. If you are not able bodied, stepping up and in to the tub would be hard! Again no storage just a tiny shelf just about big enough for a small toiletries bag. ||Room aside, the breakfast was important for us as my kids can eat, unfortunately the breakfast jere is appalling. It is probably the worst I’ve experienced in a city hotel that is 3/4 star. There was nothing appetising that we could eat and a request for eggs cooked for my children was turned down. They offer scrambled eggs but they are cooked with something I can’t put my finger on (probably milk and I’m intolerant) and not warm enough to eat. The sausages are hot dog type out of a can and the fruit cocktail is also from a can. They had small chunks of grapefruit and orange segments but all cut with the skin on which seems a little odd. They offer granola but it’s a mix of puffed rice and other stuff but no granola in it. The only thing I could eat was the croissants and sourdough toast. For 6 days this is not acceptable. I’m sure the local food was great but if you’re a westerner not wanting to eat miso soup, vegetables and noodles for breakfast then this is not a good place to start your day. ||In addition to this, I’ve never in my life been refused a take out of breakfast as we didn’t have time to eat on one day as we had a 7am collection for a trip. I asked if we could take some croissants for the kids to eat in the car and was refused! ||The pool and sauna area is not mixed, males snd females must go separately and you are not allowed to wear clothes!! Yes you read that correctly, you must be naked. I’m sorry but sending my 2 teenage sons into a pool area with other men naked is not acceptable. I appreciate this might be cultural but be respectful of those that do not wish to bath with no clothes and allow them their privacy. ||We were told if we don’t put the “make up our room” sticker on the door then we would get an eco change of just towels etc which was fine for us. On the two days I left the sticker out for a full clean, nothing was done. No bed change, no clean cups, no bathrooms clean, nothing. ||I would not recommend this hotel and still have two more nights of staying here and frankly I can’t wait to leave and move to...

There is also the Oedo line but that is a slightly further walk away going a few levels underground. The Roppongi area is great with lots of food options, convenience stores and a Don Quijote. The minor downside is that with only 2 lines running through Roppongi station, travel to other parts of Tokyo might take awhile due to the constant need to change lines. However, if most of the places you are visiting can be easily accessed via the Hibiya or Oedo line or you don't mind the constant changing of trains, the location is really really good.||Room|We had an executive twin room which was decently sized and it had a sofa. Between the decently sized beds and the sofa, there was sufficient space for our family of 4 (kids aged 7 and 9). However, the toilet/bath area is very small with limited space to put toothbrushes, face products etc. There is a small glass table (the size of a bed side table) if we wanted to eat on but other than that there is no space to eat food off. The room was clean but the toilet/bath smelled like musty/sweaty men were cramped in there. The air freshener provided did not help but after taking our showers, the smell did slowly fade away but it'd come back the next day after housekeeping was done. ||Amenities|There is a skyspa/onsen on the highest floor with separate male and female areas. Each area had their own indoor and outdoor spa. The men's one had a cold water bath as well which was good to soothe our tired legs. Our kids enjoyed the skyspa, the men's one wasn't too busy, aside from the 1 day. There are also 3 separate coin laundry and dryers (3 each) in a room next to the skyspa where we did our laundry. It wasn't too busy but were mostly in constant use. We had adults and children pyjamas provided in the room which we all enjoyed using.||Service|Service was a little subpar to be honest. We had forwarded our luggage from Kyoto and upon check-in the receptionist simply said we can grab our luggage from next to the reception. I looked at him and asked won't they be helping to send it up and then he replied that he would. I would expect any 3-star and above hotel with a reception to help carry luggage up or at least off a trolley. The next day, my wife asked for a steam iron and was told to come down to reception to pick it up herself. This is not the level of service I expect from them. However, the check-out service provided by Hein and Yujin was exceptional and fully redeemed the hotel for the subpar service we had received until then. We had originally wanted to forward our luggage to our next Tokyo hotel and Hein was helping to fill up the forms and contact the receiving hotel but then I thought of taking a cab there so Yujin helped us organise a big cab that would fit all of us and our luggage. The both of them were so helpful and tried to help in anyway they could to make sure we left happy. Big shoutouts to Hein and Yujin for giving...
