We stayed at Hotel Brillio Asakusabashi on April 1, 2025, and arrived around 8 PM. Having visited Japan over 10 times, we have always experienced warm and professional hospitality—until this visit. Unfortunately, we were met with an exceptionally unprofessional and rude male front desk staff member (with dyed hair), which left us shocked and disappointed. It was hard to believe this happened in a country we’ve long admired for its service and courtesy. This unpleasant encounter seriously affected the mood of our trip. We sincerely hope that future guests do not have the same experience with this particular...
|We stayed for 5 consecutive nights in June with our children. The staff, Mr. Miyagawa and Mr. Harada, were very kind and treated us very well. They were flexible to accommodate the increase in the number of guests during our stay, which we really appreciated.|The location was great, about a 5-minute walk to the station, with many convenience stores and restaurants around. There are vending machines and a laundry room (300 yen) next to the front office, which was very nice for a group staying for consecutive nights. We sometimes decided on our activities for the day based on the guidebooks on the first floor (e.g., Kiriko experience at Asakusa).|The Sumida River is nearby, so in the evening we took a walk along the river while watching the Sky Tree, which was a memorable experience.|The hotel room was spacious and comfortable for our family of four, and despite its proximity to the main street, it was very quiet. The beds were comfortable and the quilt was in a Duvet so the kids didn't make a mess. There were many outlets in the room, which was fine even though we had many devices that needed to be charged.|We stayed in 6 different hotels during our trip to Japan and this hotel was the most comfortable. If I ever stay in Tokyo again, I would definitely hope to stay at this...
Read moreThe hotel is a 2-minute walk from a FamilyMart convenience store and a 10-minute walk from the train station. It is also just two stops away from Asakusa. The room is particularly spacious, in a good location, and offers good value for money. However, cleanliness could be improved as there were a few hairs near the pillows and on the floor, which was not ideal. Additionally, there was an unpleasant odor in the room each time we returned, which was alleviated by turning on the air conditioning. We stayed for three days without requesting room cleaning, but daily toiletries and towels should be provided to guests by placing them near the doorknob or on the floor. The room is very suitable for families, with three beds and a tatami area. The bathroom, shower, and washbasin are all separate, which is particularly good. The amenities provided are from Pola, which is quite nice.As someone who works in the hotel industry, I pay attention to these details and wanted to provide feedback. Overall, the experience was good, and I would choose to stay here again next...
