Spending my morning in Ginza/Tsukiji area and needed a coffee. Sadly, thought we might have to settle for a Starbucks/Doutor/Cafe de Crie when we stumbled upon this gem of a coffee roastery. To begin, the tiny little shop consisting of five tables, smells incredible. Second, there was a stream of locals grabbing coffees to go, always a good sign. Third, the four women working behind the counter were super helpful, kind, and friendly—when we arrived, all of the tables were filled so one of the women opened up some counter space for us and once a table opened, she ushered us to it almost immediately. Read moreI accidentally stumbled on this quaint cafe while looking for another 7-Eleven around my hotel one day before my flight. So, I thought I would give this cafe a try the next morning. I ordered a Iced Brown Sugar Latte Large Size, to go (JPY 470 ). And you could say I was blown away with the taste! The coffee was thick and creamy, it is a bit too sweet for my liking but then the sweetness level was consistent until the last drop without being diluted by the ice.
