This is my first time go to tokyo and i stayed in the worst hotel in my life. I really try to be patient, BUT : i stayed for 3 nights and there was no room cleaning at all, they said there was no clean up for the room. they said hotel, but what kind of hotel does not have clean up for the room, what about people who stay for 1 months???!!! They should said they are air bnb not hotel !!!!!! they said this hotel is good for children, but when i opened the balcony door, the view is grave yard !!!! N There is no elevator at all n my room is at 4th floor. the room is not as cleaned as i expected ( because i heard hotel in japan is usually so clean). There is a lot of rubbish under my bed. The windows not sealed properly, eventough i closed, u can still feels the wind go inside n it's very cold. when i checked out, i wanted to keep my 3 big luggage and 2 big paper bags at the hotel because my flight is at midnight, but they said they could not keep any luggage at the hotel , this time makes me super angry. i traveled with my son n husband, so where can i put all the luggage's. U said u are hotel right ???? But why can not keep luggage ???!!! The location of the hotel is also quite far from the station and really its not good location for tourist stays ( there are still lots of hotels nearby from the centerof shinjuku area), and i already arranged airport transfer at 8pm. After im very angry they allowed us to keep our luggage until 5pm. This is my really honest reviews about this hotel and I have no ideas why there is a lot of good reviews 😪. First time and DEFINITELY WILL NOT COME BACK EVER. Actually I want to put MINUS STAR,...
Read moreThis is a great find in Tokyo and we stayed here for two weeks. The hotel is in a lovely district of Shinjuku-in a quiet suburban area with access to local restaurants and convenience shops and it’s about 15-20 minute walk away from the main bright lights of downtown Shinjuku. It is about a 5 minute walk to a subway station-Higashi-Shinjuku, with two lines running from this station that links you to the major tourist sites. Downtown Shinjuku is one or two subway stops away taking less than 5 minutes. The rooms are well appointed, our room was on the 3rd floor (303) and had a lounge area with TV, sink, kettle etc and then a seperate space for our bedroom and bathroom. The room even had a balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are not serviced everyday, but clean towels, toilet paper etc are available if you stay for more than 4/5 days. The rooms are a good size compared to other hotels in Tokyo-we call them bijoux. The local area has everything you need-as you come out of the hotel if you turn left there is a convenience store (Family Mart) and a laundrette (Wash). If you turn right and continue down the street the hotel is on, there are small restaurants and the best bakery in Tokyo. The bakery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 7.30 to 12.30pm and has gorgeous fresh sweet treats (western and Japanese) and savoury treats including baguettes as good as those you get in France. Less than 400 metres from the hotel is Shinjuku Eastside-there are two larger convenience stores and about 10 restaurants. We would not hesitate to...
Read moreBooked this hotel for a one week stay in Tokyo for 4 people. We booked the "Twin Room with Bath" which could of fit 5 people but was the perfect amount of room for 4. Self check-in was easy and although there wasn't a elevator, we were only on the 2nd floor so was it easy to walk up. The room was clean and spacious enough for us to put our suitcases in and walk around still. There was a small closet area next to the bathroom where you could put your suitcases to get out of the way. The room had a bunkbed too for additional space. We loved how the automated toilet(bonus point: automatically had a warm seat and the bidet was a godsend!) a had its own separate room, that way someone could use the toilet while another person could shower in the separate shower room. There was a double sink next to the shower which you don't see in many hotels(saved us a lot of time of not waiting for someone to be done with the sink). There were nearby convenience stores close to the area and also a 24 hour laundry mat down the street. The walk to the nearest station is about 7-8 minutes. Overall the room was clean, decently spacious and quiet. Everybody in my party loved it and would totally book again if we come...
