Bakery Donsuke — Restaurant in Tokyo

If there is one thing I learned from living in Belgium/Switzerland/France, its how to recognize a great bakery. This is a local spot seldom visited by the tourists which is nice for a change around Shinjuku. We tried variety of things such as croissants, little pizzas, pain au chocolate etc and everything we tried was just perfect. It ranks amongst best bakeries I ever visited in my life and wish to have such place around the house. If you want to enjoy great food far away from the tourists, check out this hidden gem. Maybe i'm little bit late, because it's been 4 years since my visit. However i remember very well how tasty pastries this bakery had. Visited at least 3 times during my stay in Tokyo in 2018. I'm glad to see that this place is still there and i hope to come back there as soon as possible.

A must visit. Lovely hidden bakery. With superb baked sweets and savouries and breads. We had the garlic, butter bread, the ham and cheese croissant both were absolutely delicious, light and crunchy flaky perfect croissant pastry.
