This is a perfectly no-frills kind of place, so if you're looking for something more upscale, you may be disappointed. However, they have indoor and outdoor seating, a tasty standard menu, an ever-changing daily special board, and fairly quick service. What's more, the staff is happy to leave you alone to chat or relax over a drink or snack, and I've never felt rushed. I quite like the salads here, as well as the simple worker's sandwich of ham and cheese on baguette, which is so much more than the sum of its parts. I almost always drop by for a small meal or a snack, and have never been turned away for lack of space, though the restaurant always seems to be bustling. If you're looking for a proper meal, the steak frites is always good, or a sampling of many small dishes is great, too…just don't forget the French onion soup, which is spectacular and bubbling hot. My only caveat: the desserts are mostly nice, but can be a bit hit and miss. Definitely try the Peach Melba when it's available, or a simple crème brûlée…but the Tarte Citron varies from pleasantly balanced to face-puckeringly sour, and many other desserts are kept chilled, so they aren't as good as they would be at room temperature, and can taste a bit like the inside of a refrigerator. However, if you've had a few French cocktails, and you're relaxing amidst the ambience, you may not mind.

For Tokyo, a very good, unpretentious bistro. Always dependable, many of the staff have been working here for years and friendly and helpful. All the dishes are bistro classics, this is not haute cuisine but the cooking is good and all dishes are as they should be. Steak is always good and I would recommend the snails. Usually drink the house wine, as the bottles are a little expensive - but that's a Tokyo thing.

Came for a early lunch on a Wednesday at 11:30 and the place wasn't busy. Had the 3500 yen lunch course which includes appetizer, main, dessert and coffee or tea. Each course was quite large and quality of food was good. They offer endless bread which again is very decent and if you want butter you need to pay 500 yen. For the money it felt like great value. Worth visiting.

Gorgeous restaurant. Cozy, busy French café atmosphere. Visited during weekend after 3PM, was very crowded. Good tart selections. Tried the blueberry tart, was very delicious. Coffee was just OK. Service not attentive, water served was obviously came from very old water pipe without any filter… thus cannot imagine the water used to prepare the foods and drinks...

If good pastries, sandwiches & coffee is your style to start your day. This is a very good place to start with. Decor & pastries are very French. Have to be careful how you order coffee. If you prefer fresh machine brew, order Americano. If you just order black coffee, will only get fresh drip coffee (which is also good).

I sometimes visit here because the cakes and tarts are great! Also enjoyed Croque monsieur. The taste was awesome! Dinner menu is few. And you can not catch the server, sometimes. You need to order them a bit earlier.
