Royal Host Takanawa — Restaurant in Tokyo

One of the most famous "family-restaurant" in Japan, which means we can visit with family members easily.

Actually, its true that Japanese tend to think family-restaurants dont have value to visit because they are located everywhere in Japan, they have so many branches.

However, I believe family restaurants are awesome. they can keep their quality everywhere in Japan. Hokkaido, Okinawa, or even rural prefectures, it doesn`t matter. they will provide us high -quality foods.

This time, I visited this family restaurant in the first time in 5 years. I realized they keep high quality of services and this shows Japanese quality. I would highlight that almost all servers are just part-timers. However, their services and attitudes are totally professional, no difference with hotel services.

If foreigners visited Japan, I would recommend to try family...

Very nice place, kind of A Diner vibe, always super busy, good food, very lively, more younger crowd, but plenty families too. We enjoyed it, and it is very affordable for your especially if you want good food for your last meal after you spent all your money in Japan. The food is NOT Japanese strictly, its a fusion of all. My husband had a hamburger paddy with fries, corn, fried egg.(we were taking a break from all the good Japanese food), :) Hamburger paddy tasted more like meatloaf, but he loved it. I had sizzling shrimp, fish, scallops with corn. Portions are smaller than in US, so we left a little hungry, but it is a good thing :). We did have desert, hot fudge Sunday and crabrulet with nuts and caramel parfait. It was Super Delicious!!! Arigatto Gusaimas!!!...

Nice restaurant a small walk from Shinagawa Station. As i did not speak or understand Japanese, i was very skeptical about going to a restaurant, but very luckily, one of the servers could understand some english. She helped me with the ticketing system for getting a table and with ordering food, and paying at the till towards the end, helping me feel more relaxed in an unfamiliar environment and can not thank her enough.

I tried the omurice with curry sauce and was pleasantly surprised. Very good portion size and full of flavour. Would definitely visit...
