Positives: Room is fitted with a modern bathroom that has a control panel with functions such as temperature control, having your bath be ready by a certain time and becoming a dryer for your washed clothes Has plenty of wall outlets, in useful places too The hotel is a very short distances away from Sensouji Temple The Tokyo Skytree can be viewed when walking out of the hotel A convenience store is located directly across the road There is a washing machine on the first floor that can be used by any guests if required, however there is only one o This is not an issue however due to the fact that down the road there is a coin laundry with plenty of washing machines The Japanese staff can communicate in basic English, however there are also some foreign hotel staff as well Beds are comfortable to sleep on Wi-Fi is very quick and easy to connect to The room has an air conditioner
Negatives: The hotel itself is a little far from subway stations, and though buses can be caught to these stations it is more often than not quicker to walk Though it is a very good location for Asakusa, it does feel a little far from other parts of Tokyo, even with the interconnectedness of the Tokyo subway train system The room we stayed in did not have any tables or chairs, so bringing food back to the room is a little risky as we had to eat sitting on the beds The main issue we had with the room is the door is not properly sealed, meaning that due to the pressure difference from inside the room and outside, it would create a vacuum and the sound of air flowing into the room can be heard relatively loudly. If you’re a light sleeper this may be a big...
Read moreTokyo rooms are usually small but I find the room at the hotel reasonable for its price. It is located a good neighbourhood away from the main hustle bustle but you will still be able to hear sirens non-stop especially late at night. There is a family mart conveniently located infront of the hotel too. The staff are friendly and provide good assistance too. There is laundry services too albeit limited but you can always go to the nearest laundromat located nearby too.||Despite centrally located within a few of the train stations, it is still a long walk away and could take about 20 minutes. To go to the main area itself could take a 20 minutes walk too depending on your speed. This is not easy especially when you have big luggages. They do not have daily cleaning services and only once during our 6 day stay. You will have to pay more if you wish to have more cleaning service. The neighbourhood is really a housing area and although there are people here and there who speaks English, it might be difficult for you to navigate around as the nearby restaurants really do not speak English or are slightly adverse...
