M5 self-service Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Riga

I wish I could give this hotel zero stars. While the room itself was fine, what happened after my stay has completely destroyed any chance I'd ever return or recommend this place to anyone. I accidentally left my AirPods in the room after checkout. I immediately contacted the hotel, and they confirmed they had found them and would ship them back to me. That was weeks ago. I have yet to receive my AirPods, despite multiple follow-ups.

At this point, I can only assume the staff either kept them for themselves or "lost" them conveniently after promising to return them. The fact that they acknowledged having my property and then failed to follow through is absolutely unacceptable and frankly feels like theft.

This hotel has proven themselves to be dishonest and untrustworthy. If you value your belongings, stay somewhere else. A reputable business would have returned my property as promised or at minimum kept me updated on the situation. Instead, I got radio silence and am now out $200+ worth of electronics.

Do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else. You can't trust these people with...

Terrible, I strongly advise against it. The room itself would be acceptable, but the issues are too many and too serious. The toilet seat was broken, the shower was clogged and didn’t drain, the mattresses are hard, and the thin curtains let in a lot of light. We sent a message asking them to fix these problems, but nothing was done. We asked for two extra pillows because I suffer from back pain (the provided pillow was practically nonexistent), and they replied that they would take care of it the next day. Not only did they not do it, but we never heard from them again. On the last day, we kindly asked if they could book us a taxi for the early morning (we don’t speak Latvian), and their reply was to just use the Bolt app.

The room was spacious, clean, bright and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. However, the curtains didn’t block out the light at night very well. There was no breakfast included, but there are plenty of great shops nearby where you can easily find something, including excellent bagels.
