I stayed here for 3D2N. Arrived at KK airport and took the taxi there...terrible as it was considerably expensive for a decent distance....and worse is it couldn't enter the hotel area as there was a night market going on. So I had to walk in from the main road with my luggage.||||Reception was rather neutral. Rooms were SMALL. WIndowless (but that's fine for me and I knew that when I booked); no safe deposit box; no fridge; flooded shower area; see through bathroom doors (you can roughly see into the bathroom; you have to be there to believe it). Please refer to pics. Wifi is FREE and good.||||Bed was comfy with more than enough pillows. Many power sockets around. TV reception was decent. Foldable ledge to put your stuff but make sure they're not too heavy!||||I was a solo traveler meeting a friend here so I didn't spend too much time in the hotel. I don't know how the in house food was. I had my meals outside. Sabah's food is quite expensive compared to Peninsular Malaysia. ||||On the day of my checkout; at least the staff was helpful enough to call a taxi for me; same price and no extra charge.||||All in all, I don't recommend for its price if you are solo but location wise it is pretty good. Some street massage available downstairs after midnight...don't know whether it's for real or hanky panky....
Read moreWe booked this place after our Mt Kinabalu hike and booked a family room ( 1 queen bed and 1 single bed ). There were only 2 towels for a room that is for 3 people, and we requested another 1. The single bed in the room was not provided with blanket. We called reception and they casually said that they do not provide bedding and blanket for the additional bed. We went downstairs and inquired further, but the reception staffs were very rude and demanded that we pay RM25 to 'rent' a blanket which was supposed to rightfully be in the room.We asked to meet with the hotel manager but they told us he was not available. ||On principle it does not matter the type of hotel it is, I believe the way you treat your customers will go a long way in ensuring the customer comes back, Regardless of the amenities around the area and no matter how central this place was, we won't...
