Hotel Traveller — Hotel in Borneo

The first thing I noticed when I checked in the room was the missing handle locks on both windows, though I'm not too bothered by this. But within minutes later, the receptionist came to my room with another room key, informing me about the missing handle locks, asking me if I would prefer another room instead. I told her I'm okay with the room. No need to move to another room. My first night was comfortable enough for me to extend my stay for another day. On the second day, at around 7.30pm, the receptionist rang my room telling me their maintenance man want to come to room to fix the window handle locks. I was rather surprised by this. Obviously the hotel management is concerned by this, although I have told them I'm not bothered by this. This is a plus about this hotel. They placed priority on their guest safety. Another plus, is the overall cleanliness of the room. Don't let the outside, which looks like a run down building, fools you.The receptionists are all very friendly. Surprised to find the rooms clean and tidy even from outside it looks like a run down budget hotel. A very convenient place with so many local foods around. The famous Wong Kok restaurant is right beside the hotel serving chinese food round the clock. Stayed for 4 nights n visitted the surrounding places. Night Gaya market were held every Sunday night.
