Rise & Shine Cafe Miri — Restaurant in Borneo

We wanted to share what a truly wonderful experience we had at your cafe! Everything from the food to the desserts was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and full of flavour. We particularly enjoyed the nasi lemak, burger, pasta, and fried rice, and for dessert, the mango pudding and chocolate brownie with ice cream were perfect. The refreshing fruit drink (a mix of lime, lemon, and plum), strawberry milkshakes, and especially your coffee, were delightful.

The atmosphere was incredibly clean, calm, and relaxing, making it an ideal spot to unwind or catch up with friends and family. The entire place felt very well-maintained, and even the restroom was spotless, which really speaks to the care and attention you put into every detail.

Your staff were warm, friendly, and attentive from the moment we walked in, creating a welcoming vibe that made our visit even more enjoyable. Their hospitality truly stood out.

The environment here is quite comfortable, making it a pleasant spot for lunch or afternoon tea. However, during my visit today, the coffee shop was occupied by a large group of elderly women, which created a noisy, bustling atmosphere reminiscent of a busy market in the middle of the day. The noise level made it challenging to enjoy our time, so we quickly reviewed the menu and made our selections. We ordered an iced café latte and a calming chamomile tea. Unfortunately, both drinks were rather average; they were diluted due to an excessive amount of ice cubes. The chicken ham omelette with garlic bread was also disappointing. The omelette lacked of spices or herbs fragrance, and the garlic bread was similarly plain, making the dish fall short of standing out. The ice cream waffle was enjoyable because it is S W E E T. If u come here u should probably do an outfit check. If u dress simple maybe can go other place cos they will be lazy to serve you + give u bad experience. Came here last time fully dress up and customer service was fast and good. Came here today with a simple outfit and staff don’t bother to serve me and my mom. Even gave my mom a SLEEPY SIDE EYES and IGNORED US. We waited for quiet long at our table and eventually left. Very disappointed with the poor quality staffs. They just gather and squeeze together at the counter. FYI, the cafe was empty so they could’ve serve us or at least tell us to order from the counter. What’s the point of good food if ure...
