Where the locals dine, we shall dine too. Seriously, the best local dishes you will eat in Miri. Staffs were so friendly and service was extremely quick. Seems like a family run business (literal translation of the name “3 fat siblings kitchen”).
Theres plenty of seating inside and outside. It can get pretty crowded. The menu was a little intimidating at first as I am not familiar with the dishes. But just choose one (beef or chicken, rice or noodles), I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Heres what I recommend: DAGING GORENG BEREMPAH. The best fried herbed beef I have ever eaten! The herbs were really addictive (tastes like the ones on muruku). Order it with plain rice or fried rice. With the other sets, it’s also served with a pineapple curry (really sweet) and sambal chili (so good). I want to come back just to eat this! The beef is generally soft at times but a fair warning that it can be hard and dry as well depending on who is cooking that day.
MEE KOLOK KAMBING BAKAR. The chewy kolo mee noodles and insanely soft and flavourful lamb is to die for. Highly recommend to order this!
MEE KOLOK DAGING HITAM. Similar to the above but with insanely soft braised beef in soy sauce. Another flavour bomb with strong fried shallot and beefiness.
AYAM BAKAR GULAPONG. Soft, charred and sweet grilled chicken. The sweetness comes from the palm sugar (which is a Sarawak special sugar). It was so delicious and I highly recommend it.

Very disappointing customer service. They gave the wrong order but refused to admit it was their mistake. I placed the order when there weren’t many customers, and it was only for two tables. Worst of all, they served the order of a customer who arrived later (who happened to be my friend), claiming their order was simpler and could be prepared faster. Upon checking with my friend, they had actually ordered the same menu as I did.

Any place that is flocked to by the locals is a guarantee of good food, and this place is no different. As seen from all the other reviews preceding mine, the food served here is amazing!
I had the 'Mee Kolok Daging Itam', and it was the perfect breakfast meal for me with a cup of 'Teh ice'! I also added on a fried egg, and highly suggest that you do too.
Overall, this will be my go to breakfast/supper/snack spot, if I'm ever in Miri again. 100%...
