Very unprofessional and rude property manager. 20/6 - Booked for 2 nights on Booking.com. The property manager texted me and insisted that I bank transfer a deposit of RM200 within 3 days. His tone was rude and insinuated that if my trip is not confirmed, I should just cancel the booking and open the room up for others to book, don't book without payment, and don't show up on the day. I felt it was fair enough so I agree to pay the deposit. 22/6 - Property Manager rang me up and told me to cancel my booking. Another party booked the property and paid in full. I knew I would love the house from the photos. I guess I was a little worried about the neighborhood when we pulled up- not safety but mainly food and services. I could not have been more wrong. There are almost endless choices in this very vibey neighborhood- everything from street food to gourmet. I loved the salads as Cafe 55 and the fresh fruit vendor. It was quite hot while I was there. It was a great place overall, experience the traditional wooden house as you still have the chance before it's gone! The outside of street Chulia is full of vendors with hundreds of food for you to fill your stomach all way through but make sure to prepare yourself around 7pm-9pm cuz the food there sold...
